Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter is not projected to make the 53-man roster, according to beat writer Paul Kuharsky.

Huddle Up: Hunter has a ton of size, and he seems a natural for effectiveness in the red zone, but the light just hasn't gone on for him. Perhaps a change of scenery might do him some good. Avoid for fantasy purposes for now.

Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter is unlikely to make the 53-man roster, according to beat writer Paul Kuharsky, and Kuharsky believes WR Tre McBride could be the beneficiary and secure a spot.

Huddle Up: Hunter has been a big bust with the Titans. Still, if he's cut loose, another team will take a shot on Hunter's raw athletic ability.

Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter is entering the fourth and final season of his rookie contract. He has yet to record 30 catches or more than 500 yards receiving in a season, and each of his past two years have been cut short by injury. It's likely he'll be fighting for the No. 5 receiver job.

Huddle Up: The Titans signed Rishard Matthews and drafted Tajae Sharpe, plus they still have Kendall Wright, Dorial Green-Beckham, and Harry Douglas in the mix. Hunter has the talent and the potential, but he hasn't been able to put it all together and live up to his second-round draft status--and he's running out of time to do so in Tennessee.

Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter met with head coach Mike Mularkey before practice Wednesday, June 1, and the head man challenged him. 'I am asking him to step up and be more aggressive about it,' Mularkey said. 'To get up at the line and look at the guy across from him and tell him: 'You can't cover me.' He just needs more confidence in his body language, and everything about him. He has so much talent, he just has to believe he has the talent.'

Huddle Up: Sounds like a familiar refrain with Hunter, who has plenty of talent but has yet to produce with any consistency at the NFL level. With Dorial Green-Beckham and Kendall Wright also in the mix Hunter will need to step up to claim a significant role in the Titans' receiver rotation.

Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter is up to 209 pounds from the 203 pounds he played at least year thanks to aggressive workouts and a diet change.

Huddle Up: This is a big year for the 2013 second-round pick who has disappointed in back-to-back seasons, catching a combined 50 passes for 762 yards and four TDs.

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter (ankle) suffered a broken right ankle in the Week 10 game against the Carolina Panthers, the team announced Sunday, Nov. 15. He is likely to miss the remainder of the season.

Huddle Up: Hunter's injury leaves the Titans without what was expected to be their top two receivers coming into the season. It also opens the door for Dorial Green-Beckham to see increased playing time, though DGB was lightly targeted in a similar opportunity yesterday.

Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter was found not guilty Tuesday, Sept. 15, for an alleged assault and battery in a bar fight over the weekend of July 4.

Huddle Up: Good news for Hunter, but of course it still doesn't absolve him from any NFL punishment pending the league's review of the case. In terms of fantasy, Hunter caught one of his two Week 1 targets for 11 yards but is behind TE Delanie Walker and WRs Kendall Wright and Harry Douglas in the Titans' pass-catching hierarchy.

Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter's trial for misdemeanor charges in a July bar brawl has been set back to Sept. 15 in order for defense attorneys to come up with a key witness. Hunter is expected to play Thursday, Sept. 3, against the Minnesota Vikings.

Huddle Up: Only having just turned 24 this spring, Hunter still has some upside, but he should only be a deep bench consideration in the majority of leagues this season. And that's without factoring in the possibility of league discipline over the off-field incident.
