The Associated Press reports the Buffalo Bills have added RB Marshawn Lynch to their 53-man roster after he served his three-game suspension.
The Huddle Take: Lynch could get up to half the carries in this week's game against Miami, which would drastically reduce Fred Jackson's value. If Lynch proves he can carry that load, then they will probably split time as long as they both remain healthy.

BuffaloBills.com reports Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch is still not on the team's 53-man roster, even though he has completed his suspension. The team has filed a request with the league for a three-day roster exemption.
The Huddle Take: It's odd, but likely a mere formality. Lynch should be back in action this week, and will slowly eat into Fred Jackson's productivity. He won't supplant Jackson as the No. 1 runner, however.

BuffaloBills.com reports the NFL has upheld the three-game suspension given to Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch for violating the league's personal conduct policy, according to a league spokesperson.
The Huddle Take: You'll have to make the same kind of decision with Lynch this season you had to make with Steve Smith and Brandon Marshall, who were also suspended going into Week 1. Do you wait a few rounds and pick him up for what will likely be a bargain-basement price? Will you have enough depth surrounding Lynch that you can afford to go three weeks without him? If you're shrewd enough, you can pick up Lynch later and reap some serious benefits starting in Week 4.

BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch (foot) did not participate during the team's minicamp because of swollen foot. He underwent X-rays and tests but they all come back negative.
The Huddle Take: It doesn't appear at the present time that this injury is something that will keep him off the field for a long period of time but it could be a lingering problem that could hinder him throughout training camp. If Marshawn Lynch is to miss any time then backup Fred Jackson would step in and get the carries in Buffalo. Fantasy owners should make sure and get Jackson as a handcuff as insurance if you draft Lynch this season.

The Associated Press reports Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch has filed an appeal of his three-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy. It is not known when Lynch's appeal will be heard.
The Huddle Take: It doesn't sound like Lynch is going to sit back quietly and just take this suspension. Nevertheless, downgrade Lynch slighty on your preseason draft lists unless he can find a way to get around this suspension. Backup running back Fred Jackson looks to get a fair amount of carries and should be considered a nice sleeper option this year.

ESPN.com, reports the NFL has officially announced Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch has been suspended for the first three games of the 2009 season for violating the league's personal conduct policy. Lynch is expected to appeal the suspension.
The Huddle Take: Fantasy owners should move Fred Jackson up their draft lists in light of this information as Lynch will miss the first three games of the season pending his appeal. Jackson has played well in relief of Lynch in his short career and is capable of posting consistent numbers as the Bills look to find consistency of offense. Jackson should make a nice No. 2 running back for fantasy teams for at least the first three weeks of the season as long as he is the starter.

The Associated Press reports Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch said he expects to be suspended after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge earlier this month. 'I honestly see a suspension coming. I'm young. ... [The incidents] make you stronger. ... I made a mistake. It was poor judgment. ... I plan to make some changes and make better decisions. I'm young. I'm growing. I hope not to be talking to you guys like this again,' Lynch said.
The Huddle Take: Despite an anticipated suspension, fantasy owners should look for a productive season from Lynch in Buffalo but remember he will likely slide down the draft charts some due to any suspension which will make him a draft day steal so look at him as a definite sleeper to start the year.

CBSSports.com, reports Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch will meet Tuesday, March 17, with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to discuss Lynch's arrest last month. The expectation is that Lynch will be suspended, with persons close to the situation anticipating that Goodell probably punishes him for one but no more than two regular-season games.
The Huddle Take: It appears that the commissioner is once again serving NFL justice in hopes that players promote themselves better on and off the field. Backup running back Fred Jackson would have an increase in value for any game that Lynch misses and cannot play. Fantasy owners should look at Jackson as a necessary handcuff if they have Marshawn Lynch on their team.

Jay Glazer and Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com report Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch could be suspended by the NFL for the start of the season because of his recent guilty plea on a misdemeanor weapons charge.
The Huddle Take: Lynch was in hot water last year with regards to a hit-and-run, so he was already on Roger Goodell's radar. A possible suspension might ding Lynch's fantasy value on draft day and most certainly makes Fred Jackson a must-handcuff.

The Buffalo News, reports Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of carrying a firearm in a vehicle, according to his attorney. The other two misdemeanor charges were dropped. He was sentenced to three years probation and 80 hours of community service to be completed by Sept. 1.
The Huddle Take: Despite the guilty plea, Lynch should be on the field when the Bills open training camp and ready to play. He is without question a No. 1 running back for fantasy teams in 2009 and considered a dual-threat in his ability to catch passes out of the backfield.
