Seattle Seahawks QB Brady Quinn appeared to have a solid performance during organized team activities (OTAs), and there seems no real doubt that he is the primary backup to starting QB Russell Wilson.
Huddle Up: Beware Pacific Northwest: Quinn has a tendency to look better in practices and workouts than in live action. Witness his 2-TD, 8-interception, 60.1 rating in K.C. last season.

The Seattle Seahawks officially have agreed to terms with free-agent QB Brady Quinn, the team announced Tuesday, April 9. Financial terms are undisclosed.
Huddle Up: Brady will battle Josh Portis to be the Seahawks' backup plan to Russell Wilson. Seattle, hold your breath.

Updating a previous report, the Seattle Seahawks are expected to
sign free-agent QB Brady Quinn (Chiefs).
Huddle Up: Seattle worked out a quartet of QBs earlier this week, including
Matt Leinart, Seneca Wallace and Tyler Thigpen, but appear set to go
with the fourth option, Quinn, who would be playing for his fourth
NFL team in 7 seasons.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Brady Quinn did not show much in his audition as a starter down the stretch. He is an unrestricted free agent, and isn't likely to be brought back.
Huddle Up: With Quinn not coming back and Matt Cassel likely to be cut, the Chiefs will be starting over at the quarterback position. They hold the first overall pick in the draft; should Geno Smith start house-hunting in Kansas City?

Kansas City Chiefs QB Brady Quinn will start in the team's Week 17 game, according to head coach Romeo Crennel.
Huddle Up: He remains K.C.'s best option but he's anything but an option but fantasy owners, throwing for 162 yards or fewer and no TDs over the past 3 weeks. Ugh.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Brady Quinn (concussion) has been cleared to play after neurological tests showed he was not dealing with any side effects. He will be the No. 2 quarterback in Week 11.
Huddle Up: Although he's in the clear, Quinn will watch Matt Cassel make his third straight start Sunday when the Chiefs host the Bengals. Cassel is starting because he took the practice reps earlier in the week when there still was some uncertainty surrounding Quinn's status.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Brady Quinn (concussion) has been cleared to return to practice this week after missing the last two games with a concussion. He'll be available for the team's Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Head coach Romeo Crennel hasn't said whether Quinn will regain the starting job at quarterback.
Huddle Up: Quinn supposedly had earned the starting job for the rest of the season, beginning in Week 6, but then he suffered his concussion in Week 8, leading to Matt Cassel's re-insertion. If coach Romeo Crennel stays true to his word, Quinn will get the start Sunday against the Bengals.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Brady Quinn (concussion) and DT Glenn Dorsey (calf) did not participate in practice Saturday, Nov. 10, and have been ruled out for Week 10.
Huddle Up: Brace yourselves: It's officially K.C. QB Matt Cassel vs. the Steelers' top-ranked pass defense on Monday Night Football.
Posted: 11/7/2012 7:28pm et
Kansas City Chiefs QB Brady Quinn (concussion) visited with a neurologist Tuesday, Nov. 6, who advised him not to play again this week. Quinn can take part in light workouts during practice, but he hasn't been cleared for contact. 'I talked to him this morning, talked about his situation, and he told me what the doctor had advised,' head coach Romeo Crennel said. 'So we're going to err on the side of caution and protect the football player, so that's what it is.'
Huddle Up: Talk about must-see TV: It ooks like the nation will be treated to a Monday-night matchup of Matt Cassel versus the Steelers' top-ranked pass defense. Wonder how that's going to turn out?
Posted: 11/3/2012 10:52pm et
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel indicated QB Brady Quinn (concussion) has not been cleared to practice yet. He said he is not sure if Quinn will be cleared for the team's Week 10 game and would not commit to Quinn playing even if he is cleared.
Huddle Up: ... just in case you're in a deep league and are getting a jump on mapping out your Week 10 lineup.
Posted: 10/29/2012 12:00pm et
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel said he is not sure who would be the starting quarterback for Week 9; however, he added the job would be QB Brady Quinn's if he's healthy enough to play after suffering a possible concussion in Week 8.
Huddle Up: For a moment there it seemed as though the Chiefs might do something to jeopardize the first overall pick in next April's draft. Instead, they'll keep trotting out Quinn while they ready a locker for the rookie quarterback of their choice in 2013.
Posted: 10/22/2012 7:43pm et
Kansas City Chiefs QB Brady Quinn will be the team's starting quarterback over
Matt Cassel in Week 8 and for the remainder of the season, coach Romeo Crennel
announced Monday.
Huddle Up: Quinn only threw for 180 yards and was intercepted twice with no TDs in his Week
6 start for the injured Cassel, but then again, it was his first start since 2009 and it
wasn't a whole lot different from Cassel's turnover-filled outings (14 in 5 games) to
start the season.
Posted: 10/1/2012 9:21pm et
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel didn't rule out using backup QB
Brady Quinn for some practice repetitions this week.
Huddle Up: Crennel hasn't come out and said anyone's job is in jeopardy, but starter Matt
Cassel's 5-7 TD-to-interception ratio speaks volumes with K.C. off to a
disappointing 1-3 start.
