Indianapolis Colts WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 6. He has been ruled out for Week 9.
The Huddle Take: Anthony Gonzalez will likely be out for more than just this week, the team announced that he had undergone arthroscopic surgery and will likely be out at least a couple of more weeks if not longer. It's almost time to just put him on the IR and forget about him until 2010 - almost.

The Indianapolis Colts have announced WR Anthony Gonzalez underwent arthroscopic knee surgery Thursday, Nov. 5, to clean out some loose particles. There is no timetable for his return.
The Huddle Take: There's no reason to expect Gonzalez back any time soon, which means Austin Collie and Pierre Garçon will continue to have significant fantasy value.

CBSSports.com reports Indianapolis Colts WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) may return to practice on a limited basis this week, according to head coach Jim Caldwell. Gonzalez participated in a walkthrough Wednesday, Oct. 29.
The Huddle Take: The Colts have found quality depth in their wide receiver position with Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon emerging as solid receiving options. Fantasy owners should look for Gonzalez to return slowly especially if Reggie Wayne is good to go in Week 8 as expected.

Indianapolis Colts WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) missed the team's practice Friday, Oct. 23, and he is out for Week 7.
The Huddle Take: The Colts appear likely to take their time bringing Gonzalez back from his knee injury especially with Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon performing well in his absence. Gonzalez has been inconsistent in the past and may have a hard time getting back on the field even when he does return to full health. Fantasy owners should look at downgrading Gonzalez until he proves he will get playing time when he returns.

Indianapolis Colts WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) missed the team's practice Thursday, Oct. 8. He is out for Week 5 and will miss two to four weeks.
The Huddle Take: With Gonzalez continuing to miss time with the injury, Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie should continue to play a larger role in the Colts passing game. Garcon has been the more impressive of the two and should be considered a solid
No. 3 wideout with tremendous upside for fantasy teams as long as he is starting opposite Reggie Wayne in this offense.

Indianapolis Colts WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 2. He has been ruled out of the team's Week 4 game.
The Huddle Take: Pierre Garcon will once again get the start for Gonzalez until he returns from his knee injury. With Garcon playing as well as he has it would be hard to imagine Gonzalez not playing the role of the third receiver for this team in the future.

Indianapolis Colts WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 30.
The Huddle Take: In light of the recent emergence of Pierre Garcon, it is becoming evident that WR Anthony Gonzalez may have problems returning to the lineup even when he gets better. Garcon has been incredible and exhibits the skills and athleticism that the Colts have been looking for opposite Reggie Wayne in Indy's high-octane offense.
