The Associated Press reports Oakland Raiders TE Zach Miller caught six passes for 139 yards with an 86-yard touchdown reception during the team's Week 6 game. It was the team's longest pass play since a 92-yard pass Oct. 7, 1984.
The Huddle Take: It seems the Raiders have finally gotten something else to cheer about since they did manage to win another game and defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 13-9. TE Zach Miller has been one of the most consistent players on the Oakland roster where fantasy football is concerned and should likely remain that way for the remainder of the season. The Raiders will apparently struggle all season long but there could be some bright spots along the way like this.

CBSSports.com reports Oakland Raiders TE Zach Miller (concussion) suffered a concussion Week 4 and it is unknown when he will return to practice. Head coach Tom Cable said, "Seems to be clearing up and all that and (he) should be fine. We'll make sure he's ready to go before we do anything."
The Huddle Take: It would be a surprise if Miller played this week, though he hopefully won't miss more than that. Miller owners should make alternate plans this week just to be on the safe side and then watch the late breaking updates before game time.

Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports Oakland Raiders TE Zach Miller left practice Sunday, Aug. 9, with his left leg wrapped from below the knee to just above his ankle.
The Huddle Take: In medical terminology that area of the body is known as the "shin". Could be that Miller was just icing down some shin splints or soreness, as there is no indication this injury is anything serious.

Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports Oakland Raiders TE Zach Miller looked as good and sure-handed as ever during practice following sports hernia surgery this offseason. Miller should catch 60-plus passes this season.
The Huddle Take: No worries here; feel free to treat Miller as a great option if you're letting the tight end position slide until the later rounds.

Bill Williamson, of ESPN.com, reports Oakland Raiders TE Zach Miller is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
The Huddle Take: Miller had offseason surgery to repair a sports hernia. Missing minicamps isn't a big deal so long as Miller is ready to go when training camp opens; he needs to be in the mix to remind JaMarcus Russell of his presence, lest Russell become too enamored with throwing the long ball to Darrius Heyward-Bey.

ANG Newspapers reports Oakland Raiders TE Zach Miller sustained a stinger near the end of the team's Week 15 game.
The Huddle Take: Miller is one of the few bright spots in the Oakland passing game. It remains to be seen if the injury is enough to affect his availability for the Raiders' final two games.
