ESPN reports the St. Louis Rams have placed WR Laurent Robinson (leg, ankle) on Injured Reserve, ending his 2009 season.
The Huddle Take: Robinson's season is officially over, completing the story arch. Tuck him away in your memory bank though, as he'll likely be a nice sleeper pick going in to next season a la Isaac Bruce years ago.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports St. Louis Rams WR Laurent Robinson (leg) suffered a broken tibia and will miss the remainder of the 2009 season.
The Huddle Take: That's a disappointingly early end to what had started off as a pretty strong season for Robinson. With the possible season-ending injury to Marc Bulger, it's hard to recommend any Ram for a Fantasy start with the possible exception of Steven Jackson.

CBSSports.com reports St. Louis Rams WR Laurent Robinson had five receptions for 65 yards in the team's preseason game Friday, Aug. 21. Robinson has been the team's most reliable receiver in training camp. 'The offense is great,' Robinson said. 'I'm very confident and comfortable in it.'
The Huddle Take: Robinson is another sleeper-type wideout who has already won the #2 job and with Donnie Avery injured, has been getting tons of reps in camp. He's still not worth more than fantasy depth but his stock has been consistently rising since joining the Rams in the offseason.

The Huddle Take: It's plenty early, but somebody has to start opposite Donnie Avery and it's not like Keenan Burton has the position locked down.

The Atlanta Falcons have announced they have placed WR Laurent Robinson (hamstring) on Injured Reserve, ending his 2008 season.
The Huddle Take: Robinson struggled to stay on the field all season. If healthy, however, he could press Harry Douglas in training camp for a spot in the Falcons' regular receiver rotation.
