Green Bay Packers WR James Jones is on pace for career highs in receptions (72), yards (802), and touchdowns (14) this season. Jones said the secret to his success has been his ability to stay focused during games. Jones talks to himself on the field; he literally yells at himself between snaps. 'Focus! Stay Focused!' Jones has suffered from drops in his career; however, this season he does not have a drop in 57 targets. 'In the past I've had games where I caught balls early and I would lose focus at the end,' said Jones. 'And the other way around. So I'm constantly talking to myself the whole game.'

Huddle Up: Hey, whatever works. Greg Jennings' injury has opened the door for Jones, and he's taken full advantage. His fantasy owners need to do likewise and ride the run as long as it lasts.

Green Bay Packers WR James Jones pulled down three balls for 33 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: That's three straight games with multiple TDs for Jones, tying a team record. So long as Greg Jennings remains out Jones remains a valuable cog in the Green Bay attack--especially with Aaron Rodgers returning to last season's MVP form in the Sunday night win over Houston.

Green Bay Packers WR James Jones is dealing with a left foot injury. Jones was a featured speaker at a Wisconsin university Tuesday, Sept. 25, and he said he has a broken bone in his foot which will take up to six weeks to heal, according to two attendees. However, a source said that Jones has only been dealing with "left foot soreness" and should be OK to continue playing.

Huddle Up: Jones is mired in a deep secondary receiver rotation in Green Bay; if he's out for two to six weeks that opens the door for Randall Cobb and Donald Driver to see more action. The injury might also prevent the Packers from trading Jones, something that had been rumored given the team's depth at the receiver position.

Green Bay Packers WR James Jones had four receptions for a team-high 81 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: Jones entered the season buried on the depth chart behind starters Jordy Nelson and Greg Jennings, up-and-comer Randall Cobb, and supposed third receiver Donald Driver. But he saw significantly more action than Driver, and with Cobb being used out of the backfield there looks to be a role for Jones in this offense. And with Aaron Rodgers at the helm, any significant role in this offense carries with it plenty of fantasy potential.

Green Bay Packers WR James Jones said he feels he often goes unnoticed on the team because of the depth they possess at the wide receiver position. 'At times - I ain't going to lie to you - it does get frustrating - for all of us,' Jones said. 'And I'm sure it gets frustrating for our quarterback (Aaron Rogers). He's got five, six good receivers to throw to, a tight end to throw to, so I'm sure it gets tough.'

Huddle Up: On one hand, Jones is right. His raw skills are very obvious at times. On the other hand, Jones tends to disappear and/or drop crucial passes when it's clutch-time. And who's to say Rogers doesn't make Jones look better to begin with? The task at hand for Jones in training camp is to hold off second-year WR Randall Cobb for the No. 3 spot. Otherwise Jones will continue to go "unnoticed."
