Free-agent WR Steve Breaston is considering traveling to Germany to have a procedure on his knee to repair inflammation and early arthritic symptoms. The procedure includes taking blood out of his body, incubating the blood and injecting it in the injured part of the body. Breaston believes he can pass a physical and sign a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers but wants longer-term solution for his knee problems.
Huddle Up: Breaston also indicated that following the procedure he may ride in the Tour de France. He's not a productive enough fantasy contributor to warrant waiting out the procedure, even if he does land a job catching passes from Ben Roethlisberger.

The Cleveland Browns are unlikely to sign WR Steve Breaston (Chiefs). Breaston visited with the Browns on Thursday, Feb. 28.
Huddle Up: With the Steelers, Cowboys and Lions also reportedly interested, there are plenty of options open for the the wideout.

Free-agent WR Steve Breaston is having a physical for the Cleveland Browns Wednesday, Feb. 27, according to a source.
Huddle Up: The Browns could use a veteran presence on their receiving corps, and if Breaston checks out physically he could provide that very element to a young offense. Just don't expect him to be much of a fantasy factor behind Josh Gordon and Greg Little.

The Dallas Cowboys are interested in free-agent WR Steve Breaston (Chiefs).
Huddle Up: So are the Steelers, Browns and Lions, according to various reports, and that only can be good news for Breaston, who figures to cash in somewhere after a highly disappointing 2012 season in K.C.

Free-agent WR Steve Breaston (Chiefs) will visit the Cleveland Browns this week, according to a source.
Huddle Up: The Steelers -- with Breaston's former coach, Todd Haley, on board as offensive coordinator -- have been considered the front-runners to land the wideout, but the Browns figure to be in position to offer a better deal.

The San Diego Chargers could show interest in free-agent WR Steve Breaston (Chiefs) this offseason because offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt coached him when both were with the Arizona Cardinals.
Huddle Up: First the Steelers and now the Lions and Bolts: Breaston sure is rumored to be generating a lot of interest for a wideout who caught only 7 passes this past season. That because GMs and coaches can overlook one down season after Breaston averaged 60 catches and 805 yards from 2008-11.

The Detroit Lions could consider pursuing free-agent WR Steve Breaston (Chiefs) this offseason.
Huddle Up: Breaston is a solid wingman and certainly more of a team player than Titus Young. With the Lions still looking for reliable help opposite Calvin Johnson, Breaston could get a look-see in Detroit.

The Pittsburgh Steelers do not have a lot of room under the salary cap to sign many free-agents, but recently released WR Steve Breaston (Chiefs) could be on their radar. Breaston was a favorite of offensive coordinator Todd Haley, who was previously the head coach with Kansas City.
Huddle Up: Breaston should certainly come cheap after a deeply disappointing 7-catch, 74-yard season in K.C.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Steve Breaston said Friday, Feb. 8, that he is energized by the change from former head coach Romeo Crennel to new head coach Andy Reid. He sees a bright future for himself with the Chiefs. "I've never gotten down on myself," Breaston said. "It's a new opportunity so things can change for me. It's all up to me and what I do on the field. I feel good about (Reid) being here. My big thing is to just show him my work. I feel like there's a clean slate right now."
Huddle Up: Reid worked wonders with no-name wideouts in Philly, and if the Chiefs don't bring back Dwayne Bowe he'll be facing the same task in Kansas City. Jonathan Baldwin did nothing during his late-season audition to indicate he's ready to assume Bowe's WR1 duties, so there is definitely an opportunity for Breaston.
