Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon is expected to play elsewhere in 2018 according to ESPN's Jeff Dickerson, who put the odds of Glennon returning at 'virtually nil.'

Huddle Up: Glennon leaving after one season was all but guaranteed when the Bears spent the third overall pick on Mitchell Trubisky for financial reasons, but Glennon didn't even make it a hard decision by lasting just four games as a starter. Best case for Glennon would likely be to join a team to compete for a starting gig, though nothing he showed in 2017 suggests he's capable.

Chicago Bears head coach John Fox said he would 'evaluate everything,' including QB Mike Glennon, ahead of the Week 5 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.

Huddle Up: Glennon didn't do himself any favors with a disastrous Week 4 outing, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Mitchell Trubisky have a chance to start. Even if he is given the reins to the offense, Trubisky wouldn't need to be owned outside of keeper leagues.

Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon completed 21 of 33 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football. He also turned the ball over four times, throwing two interceptions and losing a pair of fumbles.

Huddle Up: With 11 days before their next game it seems like a prime opportunity for the Bears to make the switch from Glennon to Mitchell Trubisky. It wasn't all Glennon's fault -- his receivers left some plays on the field, and his second fumble was squarely on the center -- but his interceptions were terrible. If you've been carrying Glennon on your roster for some reason you shouldn't do it any longer.

Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon completed 15 of his 22 pass attempts for 101 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 3 overtime win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Huddle Up: Glennon didn't do anything statistically, but his team picked up the win. He is still not cemented as the starting quarterback in Chicago and his fantasy value is rather minimal heading into Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 1:17pm ET

Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon went 31-for-45 for 301 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2.

Huddle Up: Glennon may not keep the starting job much longer but has posted decent numbers over the first two games. He will be facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3 and should be avoided in all leagues.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 3:29pm ET

Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon completed 26 of his 40 pass attempts for 213 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 1 game against the Falcons.

Huddle Up: Glennon spread the ball around to eight receivers and did a fairly decent job against the defending NFC champions. He remains more of a No. 2 fantasy option heading into Week 2 at Tampa Bay, although he might play with a little extra incentive facing his former team.

Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon went 11-for-18 for 134 yards and one touchdown in the preseason game against the Tennessee Titans Sunday, Aug. 27.

Huddle Up: Glennon will enter the season as the starting quarterback but may lose the job at some point during the season. He likely also lost Cameron Meredith for the season, which may hurt his value. Glennon probably should only be considered a low-end No. 2 quarterback in deeper leagues.

Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon will start the team's third preseason game Saturday, August 26, against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: After a disastrous preseason debut, Glennon bounced back with a solid showing his last time out and will look to keep it going in this one to lock up the starting job. All indications are that he indeed will be under center for Week 1 of the regular season, but he's not someone to really pursue in drafts. Rookie Mitchell Trubisky might dethrone him before long anyway.

Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon is the strong favorite to open the season as the starter based on everything the team has said, in the opinion of beat writer Brad Biggs.

Huddle Up: Glennon has very little upside in the fantasy world, and he could just be a placeholder for Mitchell Trubisky. Glennon should be avoided except maybe in leagues where you start two QBs.

  • Posted: 8/10/2017 8:44pm ET

Chicago Bears head coach John Fox said Thursday, Aug. 10, that he won't change QB Mike Glennon's position on the quarterback depth chart after one preseason game.

Huddle Up: Glennon had a rough preseason debut, but he was going up against a solid Denver defense. He still has to be considered the favorite to open the year as the starter, but he might not even reach QB2 status.

Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon completed two of his eight pass attempts for 20 yards and had an interception returned for a touchdown in a preseason game against the Denver Broncos Thursday, Aug. 10.

Huddle Up: Glennon is expected to open the year as the starter, but he might not hold on to the gig the entire season. Even as the starter, he is no more than a low-end QB2 option.

  • Posted: 8/2/2017 7:42pm ET

Chicago Bears WR Cameron Meredith is building chemistry with QB Mike Glennon and appears to be Glennon's favorite targets during the early part of training camp.

Huddle Up: Meredith is coming off a very successful 2016 season when he recorded 888 yards and four touchdowns and should be one of the starting receivers for the Bears this season. It is good that he is working well with Glennon since Glennon is expected to be the starting quarterback. Meredith has a chance to be a No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues since he should see plenty of targets.

  • Posted: 7/26/2017 11:33am ET

Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon is the team's starting quarterback, according to general manager Ryan Pace.

Huddle Up: Glennon signed with the Bears this offseason and will be the starter for least at the beginning of the season even though the team drafted Mitchell Trubisky. There is a decent chance that Glennon could lose his job during the season if the team is not fighting for a playoff spot, so owners in all leagues probably should avoid him during drafts.
