Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron posted career highs with 66 receptions, 750 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns in 2018, and he looks to take another step forward in the final year of a two-year deal with the Colts.

Huddle Up: Ebron will be trying to impress so he can land a huge payday next offseason, either with the Colts or elsewhere. He should be a top-end TE1 in all fantasy leagues as long as he can stay healthy, as well as if Andrew Luck can avoid any injuries.

  • Posted: 5/7/2019 10:32am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron said Tuesday, May 7, he is aiming for Rob Gronkowski's single-season tight end-record of 17 receiving touchdowns. 'I gotta go get 17,' said Ebron, who had 13 receiving TDs and one rushing score in 2018.

Huddle Up: Ebron's 13 TDs came on only 66 total receptions -- a rate that realistically isn't sustainable, especially with fellow Indy TE Jack Doyle expected to be healthier after missing 10 of 16 games last season. Still value him as a low-end TE1, though.

  • Posted: 4/19/2019 9:17am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron was the league's highest-graded tight end in the red zone in the 2018 season with a Pro Football Focus grade of 85.7.

Huddle Up: No surprise here as 12 of Ebron's tight end-leading 14 TDs, including one rushing, came in the red zone. However, just be sure not to overpay for Ebron in fantasy drafts this summer as he only totaled 12 TDs in his four NFL seasons prior to 2018.

  • Posted: 1/12/2019 5:36pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught five of nine targets for 51 yards in a divisional playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs Saturday, Jan. 12.

Huddle Up: Ebron's stellar stint with his new team has finally come to an end. The question now is, will he be able to even come close to duplicating it? Scoring 13 touchdowns again is unlikely, but he now possesses top five tight end appeal.

  • Posted: 1/10/2019 12:25pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (hip) was a full practice participant Thursday, Jan. 10.

Huddle Up: Ebron will be on the field, and the Colts will be glad to have him. The Kansas City Chiefs have defended tight ends poorly this year and could be without Eric Berry. Start him with confidence.

  • Posted: 1/9/2019 1:02pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (hip) put in a limited practice Wednesday, Jan. 9.

Huddle Up: Ebron led the league in touchdowns and the Kansas City Chiefs led the league in fantasy points allowed to tight ends. We can anticipate Andrew Luck looking Ebron's way often on Saturday.

  • Posted: 1/8/2019 3:34pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (hip) was held out of practice Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Huddle Up: Ebron has been a man possessed this season, adding another touchdown last week in a playoff victory over the Houston Texans. He is a top DFS option at his position if he is active in what is likely to be a barn burner with the Kansas City Chiefs.

  • Posted: 1/5/2019 5:01pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught three passes for 26 yards and one touchdown against the Houston Texans in the Wild Card playoff game.

Huddle Up: Ebron continues to be a solid option in the Colts passing game and recorded a touchdown in the second straight game. He should be considered a starting option in all fantasy leagues next week.

  • Posted: 1/3/2019 1:37pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (rest) was a full practice participant Thursday, Jan. 3.

Huddle Up: Ebron takes his career season into the postseason after leading his position with 13 touchdowns. He's the top tight end for Saturday's slate.

  • Posted: 1/2/2019 12:54pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (rest) was given the day off of practice Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Huddle Up: There's nothing to worry about here. Ebron will be ready this weekend. He scored in both games against the Houston Texans this year, so put him at the top of your tight end priority list in playoff DFS contests.

  • Posted: 12/30/2018 10:44pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron had four receptions, 60 yards and a touchdown during the team's Week 17 victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: After scoring 11 times combined during his four seasons in Detroit, Ebron became one of the NFL's preeminent red zone weapons this season, scoring 13 times to lead all NFL tight ends. He'll enter 2019 as a legit TE1. For Wild Card Weekend, Ebron faces a Texans team he scored a TD against in each meeting while accounting for a combined 105 yards.

  • Posted: 12/28/2018 1:00pm ET

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (concussion) participated fully in practice Friday, Dec. 28, and is listed as questionable for Week 17.

Huddle Up: If Ebron plays he has to be started for those still in the fantasy playoffs, but his status could be decided right before kickoff. The Colts are in a do-or-die situation and Ebron has been big for them this year.

  • Posted: 12/28/2018 9:56am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (concussion) practiced Friday, Dec. 28, without a red non-contact jersey which is typically a sign a player is advancing through the concussion protocol.

Huddle Up: Ebron had to leave the Week 16 contest early, but appears to be on track to play in Sunday's showdown against the Titans. Hopefully, there will be some additional clarity over the next 48 hours because a game-time decision would entail Ebron's fantasy owners having to wait until Sunday night.

  • Posted: 12/27/2018 1:49pm ET

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (concussion, knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 27.

Huddle Up: Ebron probably will be able to play in Week 17 as long as he is able to pass the concussion tests. Ebron has become a solid option in the passing game this season and can be a No. 1 fantasy tight end if he is active.

  • Posted: 12/27/2018 10:48am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (concussion) was on the practice field Thursday, Dec. 27, wearing a red non-contact jersey as he continues through the concussion protocol.

Huddle Up: Good to see Ebron taking the required steps after not practicing at all Wednesday. The true tests, though, will come over the next few days as Ebron will see if he gain clearance to play in Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 9:04am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (concussion) will be limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: He has a chance to be cleared before the Sunday night game against the Tennessee Titans. Ebron will be a solid TE1 if cleared.

  • Posted: 12/24/2018 3:36pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (concussion) is going through the concussion protocol and his status for Week 17 is uncertain, according to head coach Frank Reich.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to monitor Ebron's practice participation to see if he will have a chance to play this week. He has become a solid option in the Colts passing game and could be a No. 1 tight end if is active.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 11:50am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (concussion) will miss the second half of the team's Week 16 game Sunday, Dec. 23, after sustaining a concussion in the second quarter.

Huddle Up: Tough championship week break as Ebron will finish with three receptions for 28 yards on five targets. Mo Alie-Cox will be the main fill-in.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 11:20am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (unknown) left the game, went into the medical tent and then headed to the locker room late in the second quarter of Week 16 on Sunday, Dec. 23, with an unknown injury.

Huddle Up: Not good news after the tight end left the game after taking a hard hit. He was targeted a team-high five times in the first half and had with three catches for 28 yards. We'll see if he's cleared for a return.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 11:44am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (quadriceps) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Ebron has become a solid part of the Colts passing game this season and should see a solid amount of targets in Week 16. He can be considered a No. 1 tight end in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 1:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (quadriceps) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 20.

Huddle Up: Ebron is coming off a disappointing Week 15 game but has been targeted at least seven times in three of the last four games. He should have a favorable matchup this week and can be a No. 1 fantasy tight end.

  • Posted: 12/19/2018 2:02pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (quadriceps) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 19 due to a quadriceps injury.

Huddle Up: That might explain why Ebron was somewhat ineffective in the Week 15 game. He has jelled nicely with Andrew Luck this season, but is a risky play going into Week 16. Fantasy owners should circle back around Friday to check his official injury designation before proceeding.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 5:45pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught one of his three targets for eight yards in a 23-0 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15.

Huddle Up: It was an odd offensive game for the Colts as a whole, and they were able to lean almost entirely on the ground game to defeat the Cowboys. Ebron remains a must-start TE1, but he picked a terrible time to disappear for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 12/9/2018 5:55pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron totaled four catches for 65 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in Week 14 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Ebron has under the weather in practice this week, but he made the Houston defense sick with his performance. He now has 12 receptions in 13 outings this season to re-emerge as a TE1 in most fantasy leagues. The Colts host the Cowboys in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/7/2018 1:57pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (back, illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Huddle Up: Ebron has been targeted 23 times over the last two games and will continue to have a big role in the passing game. He should be considered a No. 1 tight end in all leagues this week.

  • Posted: 12/7/2018 9:12am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (illness) was back at practice Friday, Dec. 7, after missing the previous two days with an illness. He is expected to play in Week 14 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Ebron tallied 40 receiving yards and a score on five receptions in the teams' Week 4 meeting and gets a plus-matchup in this one, as the Texans have been very forgiving against tight ends the season. Ebron could easily finish as a top-five option at his position this week.

  • Posted: 12/6/2018 11:05am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (illness) missed his second straight day of practice Thursday, Dec. 6.

Huddle Up: Ebron still has three days to recover from whatever sickness he's dealing with, so it would be a surprise if he wasn't able to take the field on Sunday. He's the Colts' second biggest receiving threat with Jack Doyle out and has to be started if he's active.

  • Posted: 12/5/2018 2:48pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (back, illness) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Huddle Up: Ebron has been very productive and jelling nicely with Andrew Luck lately. Circle back around and check the official injury report on Friday before deciding upon Ebron for Week 14.

  • Posted: 12/2/2018 2:31pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught 10 passes for 81 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13.

Huddle Up: Ebron was targeted 16 times during the game and should continue to be a big part of the passing game moving forward. He can be considered a No. 1 tight end in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/30/2018 11:17am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (back) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 13.

Huddle Up: Ebron will be the starting tight end for the Colts moving forward and could see more targets in the passing game. He can be considered a No. 1 tight end in most fantasy leagues this week.

  • Posted: 11/30/2018 8:25am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron has a fantastic matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13.

Huddle Up: Ebron caught two touchdowns last week. He did that earlier this season as well - against these Jaguars. The Jaguars are the worst defense against the position the last five weeks, and the Colts just lost Jack Doyle (kidney) for the season. The stars are aligned for Ebron this week as your TE1.

  • Posted: 11/29/2018 12:56pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (back) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 29.

Huddle Up: Ebron will take over the starting job with Jack Doyle out for the season and should have a solid role in the passing game. He has caught five touchdowns in the last four games and can be a low-end No. 1 tight end this week despite the tough matchup.

  • Posted: 11/28/2018 4:35pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (back) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Huddle Up: After the Week 11 scare that saw Enron receive zero targets, the former Detroit Lion bounced back with another pair of TDs last Sunday, giving him 11 on the season -- which has already more than doubled his previous career high. With Jack Doyle out for the remainder of the campaign, Ebron is a TE1 to have confidence in as long as he's active.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 9:25pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron was not targeted and misfired on his lone pass attempt in Week 11 versus the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: Regression hit Ebron in a big way in this one, as his value has been almost entirely driven on his usage inside the red zone. Ebron ran 13 pass routes per Pro Football Focus in Week 11, which has been about his norm with Jack Doyle active. Owners are sure to overreact to this outing, but the Colts' Week 12 opponent - the Miami Dolphins - have been shredded by tight ends, meaning Ebron could be an underutilized DFS target given recency bias.

  • Posted: 11/11/2018 5:40pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught three passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns and added a two-yard rushing touchdown in a 29-26 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10.

Huddle Up: Ebron is up to 10 touchdowns in nine games, and he has become a must-start TE1 as Andrew Luck's top weapon in the red zone.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 6:19pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught three passes on three targets for 37 yards and a touchdown, his seventh of the year, in a 42-28 win over the Oakland Raiders in Week 8.

Huddle Up: Jack Doyle returned and was Andrew Luck's favorite target, but Luck still looked Ebron's way in the red zone. He will be more of a touchdown-dependent option going forward with Doyle back in the mix, but with Ebron scoring on almost a weekly basis, he can still be a fantasy starter at thin position.

  • Posted: 10/21/2018 2:19pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught three passes for 31 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 7.

Huddle Up: Ebron was targeted at least seven times for the fifth consecutive game but saw his three-game touchdown streak snapped. He will continue to start as long as Jack Doyle is sidelined and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end next week.

  • Posted: 10/20/2018 7:59pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron has been isolated on the back side of defenses this year as a way to take advantage of his athleticism, according to head coach Frank Reich. 'It's like clearing it out for LeBron or something, in basketball; just get everybody on one side of the court and get this guy one-on-one,' Reich said.

Huddle Up: Ebron has six touchdowns in six games this year, and he looks like a different player since leaving Detroit. Injuries to the receiving corps have boosted his usage, but the Colts seem to know how to utilize Ebron, and he looks like a TE1 for the foreseeable future.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 6:11pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught four of his seven targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in a 42-34 loss to the New York Jets in Week 6, and he has five touchdowns in five games this year.

Huddle Up: Ebron has been Andrew Luck's go-to target in the red zone, and he's a TE1 as long as Jack Doyle remains sidelined.

  • Posted: 10/12/2018 12:57pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankle, knee, quadriceps, shin) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 12, but is listed as questionable for Week 6.

Huddle Up: Ebron may be a game-time decision this week, so owners will need to check the inactive list for his official status. He has been targeted at least 10 times in each of his last three games and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end if he plays.

  • Posted: 10/12/2018 9:07am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (shin, quad, ankle, knee) returned to practice Friday, Oct. 12, after missing the first two sessions of the week.

Huddle Up: With Indianapolis missing T.Y. Hilton and Jack Doyle for at least one more game, Ebron should have a clear path to 10-plus targets again. As such, owners should expect him to produce like a top-10 tight end.

  • Posted: 10/11/2018 1:16pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankle, knee, quadriceps, shin) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 11.

Huddle Up: It looks like Ebron will not be able to play this week, but owners can keep an eye on the situation. Erik Swoope could receive a bigger role in Week 6 but should not an option for owners.

  • Posted: 10/10/2018 2:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (shin, quadriceps, ankle, knee) was unable to practice Wednesday, Oct. 10.

Huddle Up: Ebron is dealing with several injuries and he is a question mark for Sunday. With Jack Doyle also sidelined, Erik Swoope and Ryan Hewitt could see a larger than anticipated role in Week 6.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 8:36pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught nine passes on 15 targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-24 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 5.

Huddle Up: Ebron now has five touchdowns in five games this season, and while you can't always count on this type of yardage total, he does look like a TE1 as long as Jack Doyle remains sidelined.

  • Posted: 10/3/2018 12:56pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (knee) participated fully in practice Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Huddle Up: Again, Ebron is a recommended start with the absence of Jack Doyle.

  • Posted: 10/1/2018 1:46pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (knee) was a full practice participant Monday, Oct. 1.

Huddle Up: Ebron will be fine and can serve as a TE1 for a second straight week if Jack Doyle remains sidelined.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 6:28pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron hauled in five receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in the Week 4 game against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Ebron has taken advantage of the absence of Jack Doyle, and he now might see an even larger role with T.Y. Hilton unlikely for Thursday's game against the New England Patriots due to a hamstring issue. He has low-end TE1 ability in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/26/2018 1:39pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (shoulder, knee) did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 26 due to a shoulder and knee ailment.

Huddle Up: It's uncertain if Ebron's injuries are serious enough to keep him sidelined or if he is just being held out since Jack Doyle (hip) is out and could miss more time. We'll know much more about Ebron's status Thursday and especially Friday when the official injury report comes out.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 7:12pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron finished with five receptions for 33 yards on 11 targets in the Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: Andrew Luck looked to Ebron early and often in the road loss, but they just weren't able to hook up more than five times. Still, it's a good sign for Ebron, as he was targeted a bunch with Jack Doyle on the mend. As long as Doyle is out, Ebron could sneak into TE1 range. The Colts host the Texans in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 1:32pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron posted three receptions, 26 yards and a touchdown on four targets in Week 2 against the Washington Redskins.

Huddle Up: Ebron has fit in nicely with the Colts, connecting with Andrew Luck for a touchdown in each of the first two games. The former Lions tight end has Jack Doyle to contend with for targets, and health has always been an issue for Ebron. Despite Doyle's presence, Ebron is a low-end TE1 if he can stay on the field. The Colts travel to meet the Eagles in Week 3.
