New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. has been uncoverable in practice, and teammates believe he could have an even better season in 2016 because he was suspended one game and hurt for parts of two others last season.

Huddle Up: OBJ had a 96-1,450-13 masterpiece last year, and he's one of the most explosive players in the league. He still has a ways to go to prove his durability. Beckham is an elite WR1, and it's certainly possible there is more in the tank. However, with his robust rewards comes a fragment of risk.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (leg) is out of practice Tuesday, Aug. 2, due to soreness from cuts on his left leg. The soreness is in his ankle area, and he could miss more time this week.

Huddle Up: No real worries with no structural leg damage as it simply sounds like the elite wideout needs time for the cuts to heal and the soreness to dissipate.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. has played well over the last few seasons but has things he can work on and improve his game, according to QB Eli Manning. 'We move him around in a lot of different spots, and he's required to know a lot of different routes and different techniques,' Manning said. 'But that's the way he's going to get a lot of balls and get himself in position to do a lot of good things.'

Huddle Up: Any improvements would be scary as Beckham ranks sixth in receptions (187), fourth in yards (2,755) and first in TDs among all pass-catchers the last seasons -- and that's with OBJ missing five games.

Updating previous reports, New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr.'s one-game suspension was upheld Wednesday, Dec. 23. He will not play against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Despite a smattering of reports and social-media rumors to the contrary, OBJ will sit out Week 16 as expected. Rueben Randle and Dwayne Harris will be the main WR beneficiaries.

  • Posted: 12/23/2015 4:29pm ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr.'s one-game suspension will be overturned, according to former kicker Lawrence Tynes and other sources in New York City.

Huddle Up: Nothing official as of yet -- and it would certainly be surprising at that -- so let's wait and see a bit longer.

  • Posted: 12/22/2015 2:19pm ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. will have his one-game suspension appeal hearing Wednesday, Dec. 23. A decision is expected quickly after the hearing.

Huddle Up: With the highlights of the OBJ-Josh Norman bouts still running non-stop on network TV and social-media outlets, don't expect anything but an upheld suspension.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. caught seven of his nine targets for a season-high 166 yards and two TDs Monday, Dec. 14 in a 31-24 win over the host Miami Dolphins.

Huddle Up: OBJ is almost single-handedly deciding fantasy playoff matchups once again. Mirroring his record run of a season ago, Beckham now has topped 100 yards in six straight games and has caught a whopping nine TDs during that span to move into a tie for the league lead with 12. And if you don't own him, you'll no doubt be facing him if you survive your current post-season round.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. has the most receptions (169) in 25 games in NFL history, and he has only played 24 games in his young career. Beckham's receiving yards (2,459) also rank highest through 24 games in league history. His 22 receiving touchdowns through 24 games are tied for fourth-most through 25 career games. In those 24 career games, Beckham is averaging seven catches, 102 yards and nearly one touchdown.

Huddle Up: OBJ had a couple of clunkers in his first seven games but has since reeled off five straight 100-yard outings, adding six TD grabs for good measure during that span.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) is not on this week's pre-practice injury report.

Huddle Up: Yeah, we were thinking that OBJ looked fairly healthy in his 8-130-3 performance on Sunday in the Big Easy.

  • Posted: 10/30/2015 4:20pm ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) is probable for Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints.

Huddle Up: Beckham is overdue for a big game coming off a season-low four catches for 35 yards last week and with only one 100-yard receiving outing his last five contests.

  • Posted: 10/27/2015 3:40pm ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. said his injured hamstring is starting to feel better.

Huddle Up: Beckham was able to get through the last two games without further aggravation, and now his fantasy owners will be expecting more production after he's averaged only 5.5 receptions and 48 yards the last two weeks.

  • Posted: 10/23/2015 2:55pm ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys, but head coach Tom Coughlin said he expects Beckham to play.

Huddle Up: Beckham was able to get in some limited work Friday after sitting out the previous two practices, and like last week, expect him to be out there Sunday afternoon for the divisional rematch against the Cowboys.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) missed practice again Thursday, Oct. 22 but said he will practice Saturday and play in Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys, which is the same program he was on last week.

Huddle Up: The strategy worked well last Monday night as he led the Giants with seven catches for 61 yards and a TD. He also figures to be extra motivated this week after he was held to five receptions for 44 yards in the Week 1 contest against the Cowboys.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. caught seven of his eight targets for a team-leading 61 yards and a TD Monday, Oct. 19 in a 27-7 Week 6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: OBJ played and played well -- seemingly without further aggravation -- as he entered the night with a questionable tag following a Week 5 hamstring issue. His 13-yard first-quarter scoring reception proved to be the Giants' only score of the night, and he remains a solid WR1 going forward.

  • Posted: 10/19/2015 7:19pm ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) is officially active for the Week 6 game against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, Oct. 19.

Huddle Up: Beckham will play but he practiced little this week and his leg is not 100% healthy. He'll be more than a decoy but how much more depends on his hamstring.

  • Posted: 10/16/2015 2:40pm ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) missed another day of practice Friday, Oct. 16, and not much changed since Thursday, but head coach Tom Coughlin refuses to rule Beckham out against the Philadelphia Eagles for the Week 6 game Monday, Oct. 19. The Giants will have a full practice Sunday, Oct. 18, so Beckham has one more chance to work before game day. WR Dwayne Harris would likely be the No. 2 receiver behind WR Rueben Randle if Beckham can't play against the Eagles.

Huddle Up: It's shaping up to be a tough spot for OBJ's fantasy owners with the Giants not playing until Monday night unless you have another MNF WR or flex option to plug in if Beckham is ruled out. Get your Plan B set now, and play it by ear over the weekend.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. was defended physically in Week 4 in a strategy employed by the Buffalo Bills. Beckham was involved in a couple of altercations on the field, which showed Beckham throwing a punch. 'He's different,' Bills CB Stephon Gilmore said. 'It's kind of like you're playing your little brother, and he gets mad at you for being too physical with him - throwing a tantrum. I'm like, 'Man, we're playing football. It's a physical game. He's a prima donna. He feels like he's on top of the world and nobody's supposed to do anything to him.'

Huddle Up: Just about everyone knew it wasn't going to be as easy as OBJ made it look over the second half of last season, and it's time for the second-year wideout and the Giants to adjust following his decent but not WR1-caliber 24-307-2 start.
