New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) should be able to play in the first preseason game Friday Aug, 14, as head coach Tom Coughlin said he doesn't see any reason why he won't.

Huddle Up: Good news for ODB owners as it looks like the WR already is well ahead of where he was at this time last season when he sat out the preseason and missed the first four games of the regular season with a hammy issue.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. will be eased into training camp as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury. Beckham recently said the hamstring feels better than it did earlier this offseason.

Huddle Up: No rush for the second-year stud, who missed the first six games last season with a balky hammy. In the meantime, though, we have a sneaky feeling a few more folks are going to stay tuned to his progress this time around.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. said his hamstring is feeling a lot better than it did earlier this offseason. Beckham missed some of the offseason workouts because of a hamstring problem.

Huddle Up: We'll of course soon know a lot more when camp gets off and running, but this doesn't sound like it's nearly as bad as the hammy issue whick kept OBJ out of the first four games last season. On the Huddle's current preseason standard-league WR cheat sheet, Beckham checks in at No. 2 behind Antonio Brown.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. was limited during organized team activities Monday, June 1, because of hamstring soreness. Head coach Tom Coughlin said holding Beckham out was precautionary.

Huddle Up: With the memory of last season's lingering hammy issues that cost Beckham the first four games of his rookie season, Coughlin and Co. are taking no chances this time around even it sounds like it's nothing more than routine getting-back-in-the-swing soreness.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. said he expects to receive more attention from defenses this upcoming season but does not think it will work since the team has a lot of offensive weapons.

Huddle Up: Uh, yeah. Beckham's 17.17 fantasy points per game easily led all wideouts playing 10 or more games last season, but if Victor Cruz can return at near-full strength, the Giants will have a formidable group of pass-catchers. That said, Beckham can still expect the most attention of just about every opponent in 2015.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. caught 12 passes for 185 yards and a touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17. Beckham finished the 2014 season with 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games.

Huddle Up: Beckham made a huge splash as a rookie and carried the Giants--and fantasy teams--down the stretch. We'll see how if any his role changes playing alongside Victor Cruz next season, but right now he's earned a spot among the top 10 fantasy receivers heading into 2015.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. posted 12 receptions for 143 yards and three touchdowns in Week 15 against the Washington Redskins. He now holds the franchise rookie receiving yards record with two games to play.

Huddle Up: Don't forget, Beckham missed much of the preseason as well as the first month of the regular season due to injuries. He has certainly made up for lost time and is establishing himself as Eli Manning's favorite target--and an elite fantasy receiver.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (back) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 28, and is listed as probable for Week 13.

Huddle Up: Beckham, who's caught 31 passes for 503 yards and 2 scores over the last 4 weeks, is a no-doubt WR1 option in all leagues.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (back) has a sore back and could be limited in practice this week. Head coach Tom Coughlin said he should be OK, however.

Huddle Up: Beckham didn't look the same after re-entering the game Sunday night but he'll have a few days to rest the injury. Barring a setback, the emerging Beckham will be a Top 15 receiver against Jacksonville this week.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. had his first 100-yard receiving game in Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts Monday, Nov. 3, with eight catches for 156 yards. He had just one catch for 19 yards in the second half, though, and much of his damage came with the game well out of hand. 'It's still kind of just getting there right now,' Beckham said. 'I'm doing the best I can to maintain what I've gone through already, but I wouldn't say that it's all the way there yet. It's still a work in progress.' Beckham missed all of the preseason and the first four games of the year due to a hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: Beckham and teammate Rueben Randle were each targeted a team-high 11 times Monday night, but the rookie had the far better game and looks to be the top Giants' WR to own and start going forward.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. might be moved around over the final nine games, according to receivers coach Sean Ryan. He said Wednesday, Oct. 22, that he envisions moving Beckham around so teams cannot just key on the young playmaker, and the belief is that Beckham's skills will play well in the slot. The only thing that may prevent the team from moving him inside is that they don't want 'to overload him.'

Huddle Up: Beckham missed much of the team's offseason and preseason work due to injury, so throwing another position at him might be counterproductive. That said, expect the Giants to find ways to take advantage of Beckham's skill set and get him the ball on a consistent basis.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Huddle Up: The first-round pick is hoping to make his Big Blue debut this Sunday against the Falcons but will need to show more in the coming days' practices than he did Wednesday.

  • Posted: 9/23/2014 4:02pm ET

Updating a previous report, New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. is targeting the team's Week 5 game against the Atlanta Falcons to return from a hamstring injury and make his debut.

Huddle Up: We'll believe it when we see the first-round pick actually is on the field in full uniform for a live snap in a live game. Stay tuned ...

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) will participate in individual drills during practice Monday, Aug. 11, according to head coach Tom Coughlin.

Huddle Up: Beckham needs to get back to full workouts in order to carve out a role in the Giants' receiver rotation. Right now he's on Coughlin's list, which isn't a good place to be--especially if you're banking on Beckham to be a fantasy factor.

  • Posted: 9/22/2014 9:17am ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) took part in 11-on-11 drills in practice Wednesday, Aug. 13, but it remains unlikely that he'll play in the preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts this week.

Huddle Up: Beckham is getting close to returning but may still be held out one more preseason game. The rookie has a lot of talent but his slow start to camp has dropped Beckham to an ADP of Round 14.

  • Posted: 9/22/2014 9:17am ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) was not active for the preseason game Friday, Aug. 22, against the New York Jets. However, he might be ready to resume practicing next week.

Huddle Up: Beckham was supposed to be a big part of the Giants' offense this season but the rookie has been injured all training camp. Beckham is now more valuable in dynasty leagues than re-draft formats. Look for the former LSU star to make his biggest contributions on special teams as a rookie.

  • Posted: 9/22/2014 9:17am ET

Updating a previous report, New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) appears to be making some progress. Last week at practice he was standing around and doing nothing while the team practiced. He still did not practice Friday, Sept. 5, but was seen running, jogging, high-stepping, pseudo-sprinting and route running while also catching passes.

Huddle Up: Beckham isn't on the fantasy radar in re-draft leagues right now. He's missed too much time this summer and the Giants offense is struggling. Expect Beckham to make his biggest impact as a rookie on special teams returning kicks.

  • Posted: 9/22/2014 9:17am ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) is officially out for Monday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle will see a majority of the targets from Eli Manning on Monday night. Beckham has no fantasy value in redraft leagues at the moment.

  • Posted: 9/17/2014 6:04pm ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 17, and coach Tom Coughlin was non-committal about the rookie's status for Week 3.

Huddle Up: Sadly nothing new here for the first-round pick.

  • Posted: 9/11/2014 4:15pm ET

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 11.

Huddle Up: Another day same story for the Giants' top pick and just another facet of the team's hot mess of a passing game.
