Huddle Up: The second-year wide receiver has been having a good camp and is thought to be in the lead to earn the No. 3 WR gig, but the competition is tight with first-round pick Phillip Dorsett and free-agent signee Duron Carter also in the hunt.

Huddle Up: While all three receivers have been impressive and will have roles in the Colts' offense this season, look for Dorsett to have the biggest fantasy impact. The rookie is an explosive receiver who presents all kinds of mismatches for opposing defenses out of the slot.

Huddle Up: With the signing of free agents Andre Johnson and Duron Carter and the first-round draft pick used on Phillip Dorsett, the 2014 third-round pick has the appearances of a man caught in the middle. Moncrief did show some definite flashes last season with 32 catches for 444 yards and three TDs, but his upside is basically capped by his environment with all the offensive mouths to feed in Indy. The Colts seem to realize that and are looking at ways (special teams) to get Moncrief some additional touches.

Huddle Up: Moncrief, who logged 23 of his 32 catches over the last nine games of his rookie season in 2014, will try to hold off holdover Griff Whalen and newcomers Duron Carter and Vincent Brown for the No. 3 WR job -- a role which will certainly have value given that it's Andrew Luck slinging the ball.

Huddle Up: Moncrief had been working his way into the Colts receiver rotation over the past few weeks, and he capitalized on Reggie Wayne's absence and a shootout between Andrew Luck and Ben Roethlisberger to burst onto the national scene. So long as Wayne remains sidelined Moncrief will run as Indy's WR2 opposite TY Hilton, giving the Colts a solid young receiving corps for Luck for the foreseeable future.

Huddle Up: The third-round pick has a reception in 5 of Indy's 7 games this season, but the rookie remains on the wrong end of a numbers game with pass-catchers T.Y. Hilton, Reggie Wayne, Dwayne Allen, Coby Fleener and Hakeem Nicks all ranking higher in the pecking order.
