Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (ankle) returned against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday, Jan. 15, after having his left ankle taped.

Huddle Up: Adams is back in the game, but it remains to be seen if he will be effective while playing through the injury.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (ankle) was helped off the field by trainers against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday, Jan. 15, with a left ankle injury.

Huddle Up: With Jordy Nelson already out, Randall Cobb could see a ton of targets if Adams is unable to return.

  • Posted: 1/15/2017 12:27pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams will be in the starting lineup for the Divisional round playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys with Jordy Nelson (ribs) ruled out.

Huddle Up: Adams is coming off an outstanding Wild Card performance where he caught eight passes for 125 yards and one touchdown. He may see more targets than usual with Nelson out and should be a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues because of his touchdown potential.

  • Posted: 1/8/2017 5:14pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams caught eight passes for a game-high 125 yards and a touchdown in a 38-13 win over the New York Giants Sunday, Jan. 8.

Huddle Up: Adams should already be in the WR2 conversation heading into the divisional round, and if Jordy Nelson's rib injury turns out to be serious, Adams will become one of the top receivers available.

  • Posted: 1/1/2017 4:30pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams will make the start in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions opposite WR Jordy Nelson with WR Randall Cobb (ankle) inactive again.

Huddle Up: Adams managed just two catches for 23 yards in the Week 3 game against the Lions, but he did score a touchdown in that game.

  • Posted: 12/21/2016 6:13am ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams will continue to see targets after a couple of drops in Week 15, according to QB Aaron Rodgers. 'I'm going to him, and that's not going to stop at all,' Rodgers said. 'The guy's a big-time playmaker for us, and he has all the confidence in the world. A couple of drops is not going to put a dent in that.'

Huddle Up: Adams has emerged with a 65-922-9 line on the season. The Minnesota Vikings present a midrange matchup, and Adams remains a high-end WR3 this week.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 5:29pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams posted two receptions for 25 yards on six targets in the Week 15 game against the Chicago Bears.

Huddle Up: Over the past six games Adams has alternated 100-yard games and complete disappearances from a fantasy perspective. If you believe in those kind of trends, he'll have a 100-yard game next week against the Minnesota Vikings. However, he was good for just three catches for 26 yards with a fumble lost in the first meeting with the Vikings in Week 2.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 6:06pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams posted just one catch for 17 yards on seven targets in the Week 13 game against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Adams had been red hot lately, and this type of backslide was not what fantasy owners were banking on. Perhaps the snowy conditions limited his production, or he was tentative due to the weather, etc. Either way, Aaron Rodgers seemed to trust Jordy Nelson much more in this one.

  • Posted: 11/28/2016 9:21pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams pulled down five balls for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Week 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, Nov. 28. He was targeted six times.

Huddle Up: Adams is in that third year where players tend to take a big step forward. He has three 100-yard games over his past six outings, and he has found the end zone five times during the span. Adams has emerged as a bona fide WR2 in all fantasy formats heading into Week 13 against the Houston Texans.

  • Posted: 11/13/2016 5:00pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams hauled in six receptions for a career-high 156 yards in the Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans. He was targeted nine times.

Huddle Up: Adams has been a popular choice of Aaron Rodgers, targeting Adams eight times or more in each of the past four games. He also has six touchdowns this season, emerging as a solid WR2 in most fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 11/6/2016 9:12pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams posted four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 game against the Indianapolis Colts. He was targeted eight times.

Huddle Up: Adams has had the eye of Aaron Rodgers frequently this season, posting four or more receptions in four of his past five games. He has also visited the end zone at least once (six times total) in five of his eight games. He is a must-start WR3 or flex play in most fantasy leagues, especially PPR formats.

  • Posted: 11/1/2016 3:40pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams set a franchise record after hauling in 12 receptions for 74 yards in the team's Week 8 contest. That gives him 25 catches over the last two weeks, which is the most for any Packer in a two-game span.

Huddle Up: Adams is playing the best football of his career right now, and with Green Bay so banged up on offense, there's no reason his impressive play can't continue, especially in what should be a high-scoring tilt with the Colts in Week 9. Adams should be fired up in all leagues.

  • Posted: 10/30/2016 9:54pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams posted 12 receptions for 74 yards with 14 targets in the Week 8 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Huddle Up: Adams was targeted frequently, and that could be a theme going forward with the running game in shambles. Adams is certainly worth scooping up in PPR fantasy formats going forward if he is available off the waiver wire.

  • Posted: 10/28/2016 9:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams said the next step is to 'stack' together more big games after his 132-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 7.

Huddle Up: A lack of consistency has plagued Adams throughout his young career, and he has finished with three catches or less in four of his six games this year. He is a boom-or-bust WR3 against the Falcons in Week 8.

  • Posted: 10/20/2016 8:37pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams played through a questionable tag due to a concussion he suffered in Week 6 and finished with 13 catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears.

Huddle Up: All three marks are career highs. While Aaron Rodgers avoided Jordy Nelson like the plague Thursday night, Adams took advantage of multiple blown coverages en route to his best day as a pro while racking up 16 targets. Even though he hasn't been terribly efficient up to this point of his career, it might be time for owners to start trusting him. With Green Bay's backfield in shambles, the Packers may become a high-volume passing attack out of necessity, allowing Adams to post WR3 production on a regular basis.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (concussion) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 19, and is questionable to play in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears.

Huddle Up: Adams' status may not be decided until right before kickoff, so he'll really need to be monitored. The good news is that he did practice after not practicing yesterday. Even if Adams plays, though, he may be too big of a risk since he probably won't be 100 percent healthy. Look for better options if you have them.

  • Posted: 10/18/2016 2:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (concussion) did not practice Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Huddle Up: Concussions can take a while to recover from, and Adams only has until Thursday to be cleared to play. If he isn't cleared, then Jeff Janis and Jared Abbrederis could see increased targets behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Although, Nelson and Cobb are the only Green Bay receivers to seriously consider starting if Adams sits.

  • Posted: 10/17/2016 2:28pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (concussion) missed practice Monday, Oct. 17. The Packers did not practice; Adams' status is an estimation.

Huddle Up: Adams disappointed in Week 6, and he's clearly the No. 3 wide receiver behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Even if Adams plays, he's too risky of a start in traditional leagues.

  • Posted: 8/17/2016 7:19pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams has had some good moments and some bad ones in training camp, according to beat writer Tom Silverstein. It is believed Adams needs to make a statement in the preseason game Thursday, Aug. 18, against the Oakland Raiders.

Huddle Up: Adams has plenty of company at receiver, and even if he makes the team he is likely to be the No. 4 or 5 receiver at best. He has a chance to shine last season due to several injuries, but this season with more receivers in the mix his fantasy appeal is rather minimal.

  • Posted: 7/14/2016 11:53pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams had a difficult season in 2015, and while he posted 50 receptions he averaged just 9.7 yards per catch. The last time a receiver with at least 25 receptions finished with that few yards per catch was in 1951. He dropped 12 of his 96 targets, while averaging just 3.0 yards per catch. With a deep receiving corps, beat writer Rob Reischel predicts Adams will need a big training camp and preseason for a roster spot.

Huddle Up: Adams not only failed to step up in Jordy Nelson's absence last season, he's now put his spot on the team in jeopardy. Stay away in fantasy drafts in all but the deepest of leagues.

  • Posted: 6/2/2016 11:10am ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams is looking for a rebound after a poor season in 2015. He struggled with an ankle injury suffered in Week 2 which he aggravated the following week. Adams never fully recovered until the playoffs, and then he suffered a knee injury. During the offseason he bulked up, lifting weights once his knee fully healed. His head coach has taken notice. 'He looks stronger this year than in the past and he's healthy,' head coach Mike McCarthy said.

Huddle Up: So Adams' inability to catch the ball consistently last season stems from... an ankle injury? Adams will need to restore Aaron Rodgers' confidence in him in order to carve out a meaningful role in the Packers' receiver rotation, as Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb should both be healthy and slot ahead of Adams in the pecking order.

  • Posted: 5/27/2016 10:50am ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams said he wasn't proud of his performance last season, but he plans to prove to the team and to himself what he is capable of in 2016.

Huddle Up: With Jordy Nelson presumably healthy, Adams is at best fighting for the third receiver gig in Green Bay. And his copious drops may have cost him Aaron Rodgers' confidence; he'll need to have a heck of a training camp to convince Rodgers he's worthy of targets.

  • Posted: 2/4/2016 11:06am ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams was a huge disappointment last season, dropping 12 of his 96 targets, or 12.5 percent. He also averaged just 9.7 yards per reception, and only 3.0 yards after the catch. Beat writer Rob Reischel feels Adams might simply be in a fight for a roster spot in training camp and the preseason.

Huddle Up: When Jordy Nelson went down with a season-ending knee injury Adams was immediately elevated to elite fantasy status, so he was a double disappointment--to both Packer fans and fantasy owners. Too early to write him off, but he'll have to compete with Jeff Janis, Ty Montgomery and Jared Abbrederis for a spot in Green Bay's receiver rotation in 2016.
