The Kansas City Star reports Kansas City Chiefs DE Glenn Dorsey (leg) said he failed the conditioning test at the start of training camp. Dorsey did have iced taped to his lower left leg.
The Huddle Take: Chiefs head coach Todd Haley has said players can't participate in team activities until passing the test. That puts Dorsey, who is trying to make the switch from tackle to end, at a distinct disadvantage.

John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports Kansas City Chiefs DT Glenn Dorsey is struggling to learn the nose tackle position in the 3-4 defensive alignment.
The Huddle Take: This hardly comes as a shock; Dorsey is much more suited to play in a 4-3 scheme. It's somewhat surprising the Chiefs didn't look to deal him prior to the draft, though with so many teams moving to the 3-4 maybe there simply weren't any takers. Only time will tell if Dorsey pans out as a nose or if the Chiefs need to move him—to DE or to another club.
