Huddle Up: A rare flash of positive news for Stewart, who's missed a combined 17 games over the past 2 seasons.
Posted: 8/8/2014 8:11pm ET
Huddle Up: It feels like a lifetime ago since Stewart has been a fantasy factor. He still isn't practicing and remains week-to-week. Stewart currently has an ADP of Round 13 but there's no guarantee that he's going to play much this season considering he just began to run in a straight line this week.

Huddle Up: Another season, more injury questions for Stewart, who has played in only a combined 15 games the past 2 seasons.

Huddle Up: Stewart hasn't played a full season since 2011 and has only 516 rushing yards and 1 TD since then while missing 17 games. Counting on any kind of reliable fantasy production out of the back is a reach and a half.

Huddle Up: In somewhat of a surprise, Stewart appears on the team's inactive list after practicing during the week. In the meantime, that means more work for DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert.

Huddle Up: Just when you're starting to feel safe rolling with DeAngelo Williams, the in-again, out-again Stewart reappears in the Panthers' backfield picture. Expect Stewart to play in Sunday's wild-card game after missing the final 3 contests of the regular season.

Huddle Up: Stewart, who missed the first 7 and final 3 games of the Panthers' regular season, finished the year with a career-low 55 touches in 6 games. The 2-week break before the Panthers' first playoff game gives him an opportunity to return but don't expect much out of him even if he does.

Huddle Up: Stewart looks like a good bet to miss his third straight game, and that's continued good news for DeAngelo Williams' fantasy owners who have seen their man score in double-digit points in each of the last 2 games.

Huddle Up: Stewart will miss a second straight game which is good news, of course, for DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert owners.
Posted: 12/18/2013 6:14pm ET
Huddle Up: This is good news for DeAngelo Williams, though Stewart only played a handful of offensive snaps the last time the Panthers played the Saints anyway.
Posted: 12/18/2013 2:32pm ET
Huddle Up: This is good for DeAngelo Williams, who should get a bigger workload with Stewart out.
Posted: 12/13/2013 11:52pm ET
Huddle Up: Stewart hasn't been a fantasy factor all season and that won't change over the next couple of weeks. This has been a lost season for the former first-round pick.

Huddle Up: Two weeks for a torn MCL? Seems overly optimistic for the oft-injured Stewart. At minimum his fantasy season is over, but maybe the Panthers get him back for the NFL playoffs.
Posted: 12/9/2013 9:53am ET
Huddle Up: Just the latest in a long series of injuries that have derailed (and continue to derail) Stewart's NFL career. We'll await word on the MRI before hitting the panic button.

Huddle Up: Stewart is expected to see roughly 8-10 touches this week against Atlanta. He's not worth starting yet but Stewart's role could grow if he stays healthy, making him a viable flex play in the coming weeks.
Posted: 10/30/2013 12:56pm ET
Huddle Up: This could actually be important with DeAngelo Williams missing practice with a quad issue. Keep an eye on both this week.
Posted: 10/23/2013 2:55pm ET
Huddle Up: One more week before Stewart mucks things up for DeAngelo Williams. He is certainly worth a speculative add if you need help at running back.
Posted: 10/22/2013 8:11pm ET
Huddle Up: DeAngelo Williams owners are on alert as Stewart's return will obviously cut into his workload. It would seem, though, that's still at least a week or two away.

Huddle Up: If you have the roster space, Stewart is worth the speculative add. He could cut into DeAngelo Williams' playing time once he starts playing.
Posted: 10/16/2013 6:05pm ET
Huddle Up: It looks like DeAngelo Williams owners won't have to worry about Stewart for another week or two. If Stewart comes back strong, though, Williams could see his role reduced somewhat.
Posted: 10/14/2013 3:49pm ET
Huddle Up: When he does finally make his return, it will be interesting to see how much they use Stewart. DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert are playing well, but Stewart could cut into their fantasy value.
Posted: 8/29/2013 2:27pm ET
Huddle Up: Stewart already is opening the season on the PUP list, and the thought was he'd be good to go come Week 7 but it doesn't sound good at all that's he's still experiencing this much pain. Still, monitor his progress over the next 6-7 weeks and see where he's at.

Huddle Up: File Stewart away for a late-round draft pick or a midseason pickup, but in the meantime give starter DeAngelo Williams and rookie Kenjon Barner slight nudges up your draft board.
Posted: 8/22/2013 5:25pm ET
Huddle Up: It's never good news when one of a players' primary injury recourses is visiting a specialist. Keep Stewart and DeAngelo Williams headed in opposite directions on your draft board.
Posted: 8/20/2013 11:32pm ET
Huddle Up: DeAngelo Williams' fantasy stock continues to creep up in Carolina.
Posted: 8/20/2013 11:16pm ET
Huddle Up: The Giants' once-deep defensive front has now thinned out with Osi Umenyiora no longer around and JPP trying to get his back right. While Umenyiora isn't coming back anytime soon after signing with the Falcons, the G-Men are counting on JPP -- and a more productive JPP at that after the obviously-hampered DE slipped from 16.5 sacks in 2011 to 6.5 a year ago.
