Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') did not practice Tuesday, Nov. 17.
The Huddle Take: This is probably a precautionary measure, as Stewart has had the Achilles' condition and still been able to play the last few weeks. He and DeAngelo Williams, however, have a tough matchup this week against the Miami run defense. Start Stewart if you're lacking RB depth, but temper your expectations.

CarolinaGrowl.com reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') is expected to play despite being listed as questionable for Week 9.
The Huddle Take: Stewart's been dealing with this issue all season. He should be good to go, and has a good chance at posting strong numbers against the New Orleans run defense.

CarolinaGrowl.com reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 5.
The Huddle Take: Stewart should be inspired by the 150-yard performance Michael Turner registered against the Saint run D in Week 8. He and DeAngelo Williams are primed to put up some good numbers as the Panthers try to keep the ball on the ground and keep the New Orleans offense off the field.

The Associated Press reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart had 17 carries for 87 rushing yards with two touchdowns Week 8.
The Huddle Take: The tandem of Jonathan Stewart and Deangelo Williams returned to their 2008 season form against Carolina as both runners had huge games in Week 8. Williams rushed for 158 yards in the game while Stewart had 87 yards and 2 touchdowns. It appears that Carolina is starting to get their offense in gear so more solid games by the Panther running attack what not be a surprise from this point on.

CarolinaGrowl.com reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') is listed as questionable for Week 8.
The Huddle Take: Stewart has been dealing with this problem all season, yet has been able to fight through it the past several weeks. Week 8 should be no exception, although the sledding could be difficult for Stewart against the Cardinal run defense.

CarolinaGrowl.com reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 23. He is listed as questionable for Week 7 but is expected to play.
The Huddle Take: Stewart will be fine, and both he and DeAngelo Williams should absolutely tear up a very bad Buffalo run defense.

CarolinaGrowl.com reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 22. He is expected to play in Week 7.
The Huddle Take: Stewart should be fine, and there's a good chance he and DeAngelo Williams will tear up the Buffalo run defense, much like Thomas Jones did in Week 6.

Panthers.com reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The Huddle Take: Stewart has been impressive in sharing carries with Deangelo Williams this season and could be an even bigger part of the offense going forward. If your fantasy squad is looking for a bye week replacement at running back then Jonathan Stewart could be a serviceable option and even be found on the waiver wire in some leagues. It would be hard to imagine Stewart not in the lineup for Carolina come gametime.

CBSSports.com reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') practiced in full Friday, Oct. 9, but he is listed as questionable for Week 5. Head coach John Fox would not say if Stewart had a setback this week in practice.
The Huddle Take: It certainly appears that Stewart will be a game time decision and could miss the Week 5 contest completely. Fantasy owners should expect an increase in carries for DeAngelo Williams if Stewart is unable to play.

Panthers.com reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') is listed as probable for the team's Week 3 game.
The Huddle Take: Good news for the Panthers as they will likely have their talented running back ready to go this week. Stewart was hampered by injuries for a good portion of last year and looks to be ready for a bigger share of the carries in 2009. Fantasy owners should consider Stewart a solid No. 2 running back with nice upside this season.
