Updating a previous report, The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 19. He will be able to start Week 11.
The Huddle Take: Flacco continues to impress this season and is clearly developing into a future star at the quarterback position for Baltimore. Despite his knee injury, Flacco is a durable competitor worthy of posting some nice stats in what is becoming a well-balanced attack for the Ravens.

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 28.
The Huddle Take: Flacco continues to have an impressive season and is clearly headed to stardom in the NFL. Baltimore has been a surprise team so far this season and as long as Flacco continues to manage the offense as masterfully as he has to this point then the sky is the limit for the Ravens in 2009.

Aaron Wilson, of the Carroll County Times, reports Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (ankle) practiced Monday, Oct. 26. 'He looked sharp, he's fine,' head coach John Harbaugh said. 'You guys will see him in practice on Wednesday. He's Joe.'
The Huddle Take: Flacco should be good to go this week, but he'll have a tough matchup against the Broncos this week.

The Associated Press reports Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco was 25-for-35 for a career-high 342 yards with a touchdown Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns.
The Huddle Take: Flacco is flat out on fire. He's now a viable every week fantasy starter for those teams that likely drafted him as their backup.

The Associated Press reports Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco went 26-for-43 for 307 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the team's Week 1 game. The passing yards and touchdowns were a career high.
The Huddle Take: What a nice start to the season for Flacco who is developing into a solid quarterback right out of the gate. Since the Ravens already have a strong running attack, the emergence of Flacco will only add another dimension to an offense already clicking on all cylinders. Fantasy owners should view Flacco as a No. 2 quarterback with tremendous upside to lead your fantasy squad to a victory if your starter suffers an injury during the season.

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco had a nice outing Saturday, Aug. 29, against the Carolina Panthers. He hit 23-of-28 passes for 247 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions.
The Huddle Take: Another solid performance for Flacco who has been superb the majority of the preseason. Look for the Ravens starter to continue to improve as he is steadily becoming a fantasy factor in his second year in the NFL.

The Associated Press reports Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco was 9-for-15 for 103 yards during the team's preseason opener Thursday, Aug. 13.
The Huddle Take: And after Flacco left, Troy Smith and John Beck combined for another 305 yards against the Redskins. A solid performance for Flacco, who may not throw much more than 15 times a game once the season starts given the Ravens' preference to run the ball.

Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco has been throwing a high number of interceptions and has struggled reading defenses during training camp, but offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is not worried about Flacco. "I'd be concerned if he weren't throwing some interceptions, because now's the time to test your limits,' Cameron said. 'The only way your quarterback can grow is to try to squeeze some balls in at this time of year to find the limits, find the limits of the receiver, find the limits of the defender, find the limits of your protection. Then, as the season approaches, and obviously it starts to change. Now, if he's doing it every snap, which he's not doing that, [I'd be concerned]. But that's the only way I know."
The Huddle Take: The Ravens don't need Flacco to be a fantastic passer; they just need him to manage the game, hand the ball to Ray Rice and/or Willis McGahee, and let the defense take care of the rest. It's unlikely they'll turn to Troy Smith for anything more than the occasional Wildcat set, so feel free to add Flacco as your backup quarterback.

The Baltimore Sun reports Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has challenged second-year QB Joe Flacco to pick up his game this year. The Ravens realize there will be times this year they will need to win games through the air, too, and they want Flacco to elevate his game. Hensley says the Ravens will remain a run-first offense, but they are looking to be more balanced.
The Huddle Take: The Ravens have some passing game tools, so this is a good thing to hear. Any improvement would be a good boost to fantasy owners when drafting Flacco or his receivers. However, figuring out who the receiving recipients will be this year has seemed to be an interesting study so far. The soap opera will continue for a couple of weeks yet, but Mason and Clayton should be improved from last year when all is said and done.

The Baltimore Sun reports Ravens QB Joe Flacco hit playing-time incentives during his rookie season, which have pushed his base salary from $385,000 to $1.5 million this season. By playing in 80 percent of the snaps last year, he increased his salary an extra $750,000 each of the next four seasons. He also pocketed an extra $200,000 for each of his playoff victories.
The Huddle Take: Flacco certainly earned the raise, taking over as Baltimore's starting quarterback in training camp and becoming the first rookie signal-caller to lead a team to two postseason wins.
