Fantasy Outlook
Keller had a near mirror image of his rookie season when he totaled 45 catches for 522 yards and two scores in his first season with Mark Sanchez. In 2008, Keller had 48 receptions for 535 yards and three scores for a very slightly better season. What makes 2010 more encouraging is that Sanchez came back to Keller in a big way during the playoffs. Keller had been nearly invisible to end the regular season with just nine catches in the final five games and no scores but then in the postseason, Keller had games of 3-99, 3-19 and 6-63 with a touchdown in every week. The addition of Santonio Holmes should not hurt Keller’s stock and may actually help if it spreads the defense out more. But this is a run-first offense and now Sanchez will have more than Braylon Edwards so limit any expectations of a significant increase for Keller.
