The New York Daily News, reports New York Giants WR Mario Manningham (shoulder) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 30. He is listed as questionable for Week 8 but is expected to play.
The Huddle Take: Manningham has been a nice find for fantasy owners this season and has emerged nicely along with Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith in the Giants offense. Despite Manningham's shoulder injury, he should make for a decent No. 3 wideout for fantasy squads this week if he does indeed play. With so many teams off on bye, it could be harder to find replacements for Manningham if he ends up not playing due to the injury.

ESPN reports New York Giants WR Mario Manningham (shoulder) said that he will play in Week 8. 'Oh yeah, I will be out there (Sunday), no question. I'm going to be all right,' Manningham said.
The Huddle Take: Again, if he goes he's got a tough matchup against the Eagles. And Steve Smith won't see the volume of passes he otherwise would if Manningham is out. Check The Huddle's Game Day Injuries & Inactives report Sunday morning to find out for sure whether or not Manningham will be in the lineup.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports New York Giants WR Mario Manningham (shoulder) injured his shoulder at the end of practice Thursday, Oct. 29, and is now questionable for Week 8.
The Huddle Take: The matchup against the Eagle defense was already going to be difficult for the Giant passing game; Manningham's absence would make it that much tougher. The positive side for Steve Smith owners, however, is more balls should come his way if Manningham is out.

The New York Daily News reports New York Giants WR Mario Manningham (back) left the team's Week 6 game early because he hurt his back up by his ribs. Head coach Tom Coughlin said they would not know more about the injury until Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The Huddle Take: The Giants have a big Sunday night game this week at home against Arizona, so it will be a pass heavy affair, and losing Manningham would be a less than stellar situation for the Giants. However, the good news is that, contrary to what many believed to start the season, the team has a very good stable of up and coming receivers, so missing one for a week won't shut down the team too terribly. Stay tuned for updates after the team gets the medical results on Wednesday.

The Associated Press reports New York Giants WR Mario Manningham (chest) missed most of the fourth quarter of the team's Week 5 game with a bruised chest. He finished with two receptions for 28 yards with a touchdown.
The Huddle Take: Manningham has provided the Giants with a nice option in the passing game this season and any injury that could sideline him will almost certainly negatively affect the offense. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his injury status next week in order to find out what the extent of the injury is and if it will keep him out of action.
