Joe Reedy, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Bengals RB Bernard Scott will return kickoffs in place of WR Andre Caldwell.
The Huddle Take: If you want to spin it one way you could say that Caldwell is becoming a larger part of the Cincy offense so the Bengals want to save him for that role. On the other hand Scott just returned a kickoff for a touchdown against the Steelers, so that probably has as much to do with the change as anything else.

CBSSports.com reports Cincinnati Bengals WR Andre Caldwell (shoulder) said he sprained his right shoulder Week 4, but that he would be ready to play Week 5.
The Huddle Take: It would be logical to expect a bit of a drop off for a week or two from Caldwell considering the sprain, but probably not enough to be noticeable. The reason it won't be too noticeable is due to the stretch of hefty opponents coming up for the Bengals. Two against Baltimore, plus games against Pittsburgh and Chicago don't bode well for the passing game for the next few weeks.

Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals WR Andre Caldwell is emerging as a third-down receiver. He could also be used in Wildcat formations this season.
The Huddle Take: Caldwell would be supplanting Chris Henry if this holds true and he joins Chad Ochocinco, Laveranues Coles and Henry as four viable outlets for Carson Palmer. Caldwell won't likely be consistent enough to merit fantasy attention but he could get enough work to ding the production of the other receivers.

Chick Ludwig, of the Dayton Daily News, reports Cincinnati Bengals WR Andre Caldwell is expected to play multiple roles for the team this season. Caldwell should see time as a slot receiver, a kickoff returner and work out of the Wildcat formation, where he will line up as a quarterback and have the option of running or throwing.
The Huddle Take: Caldwell's path to a regular spot in the rotation is still blocked by Chad Ochocinco, Laveranues Coles, and Chris Henry; however, at least two of those players have been known to miss games due to off-the-field circumstances. For now, fantasy-wise you can treat Caldwell as a poor man's Joshua Cribbs.

James Walker, of ESPN.com, reports Cincinnati Bengals WR Chris Henry and WR Andre Caldwell appear to be the early favorites for the team's No. 3 receiver job.
The Huddle Take: Henry has posted big numbers in the No. 3 role in the past, and so long as Carson Palmer stays healthy the position warrants at least some fantasy consideration.
