Huddle Up: Flynn will remain with the Pack and is expected to battle Scott Tolzien for the backup job. Last season, Flynn went 2-2 as a starter after re-signing with G.B., throwing for 1,146 yards, 7 TDs and 4 interceptions.

Huddle Up: Take note, Rodgers owners. Monitor the situation.

Huddle Up: Flynn's start for the Packers couldn't have been any more different than his last one -- a memorable 480-yard, 6-TD Week 17 explosion in Week 17 of the 2011 season. Flynn, Green Bay's 4th starting QB this season was unable to guide the Packers into the end zone, but put most of the blame on the Lions' D which recorded 7 sacks and 9 QB hits. With 10 days until the Packs' next game, Aaron Rodgers might be ready to go in Week 14.

Huddle Up: There's still a glimmer of Week 13 hope for Rodgers' fantasy owners, but it's fading fast to be sure. In fact, Packers' coach Mike McCarthy said the chances of Rodgers playing Thursday are closer to none than slim at this point, so look for the Pack to feature their fourth starting QB of the season in Flynn, who was 21-of-36 for 218 yards, a TD and an interception in his Week 12 relief appearance.

Huddle Up: Flynn played well when he came into the game, and that was a big boost to some of the other offensive players. Maybe he just didn't like being away from Green Bay.

Huddle Up: Oh, so that's it *wink wink*. Elbow issues or not, Flynn might just be Green Bay's best bet until Rodgers comes back.

Huddle Up: The Packers originally appeared set to go with Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien at QB, but with Wallace's first-quarter groin injury, they have welcomed back Flynn, who has been released by the Seahawks, Raiders and Bills since last playing for Green Bay.

Huddle Up: Flynn seemed a logical fit for the Packers when Aaron Rodgers went down, but the team preferred to soldier on with Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien. With Wallace now injured as well, it makes sense to bring in a guy intimately familiar with the offense who could step in in a pinch without much prep time. And that would be Flynn.

Huddle Up: With his release from the Bills followed by this news, it appears Flynn may finally have run out of NFL options for the time being.

Huddle Up: Matt Flynn, we hardly knew ye. This seems to indicate the Raiders are on the verge of signing Pat White. All of which affects your fantasy team very little.

Huddle Up: Pryor will still start as long as he passes all the concussion tests. Pryor gets to feast on the struggling Redskins' defense Sunday, so he would be a nice bye-week replacement for Aaron Rodgers or Cam Newton if you need him.

Huddle Up: This isn't going to be a mess for fantasy owners, but it's a wise move on Allen's part as the styles of the two QBs vary significantly, creating a bit of a dilemma in the Colts' Week 1 preparation.

Huddle Up: Know the saying that goes when you have 2 quarterbacks, you really have none? What does that say about the Silver & Black and 4 QBs? Beyond RB Darren McFadden, roster a Raiders' offensive player only in extreme circumstances.

Huddle Up: Unless Pryor implodes, he should win the job. Pryor's running ability gives him more upside than Flynn but he's still no more than a QB2 at this point given Oakland's overall talent level on offense.
