WNST AM 1570 in Baltimore reports the Baltimore Ravens released PK Steven Hauschka Tuesday, Nov. 17.
The Huddle Take: Hauschka was dangling by a thread in Baltimore, and that thread snapped when he missed a field goal and had an extra point blocked. Former Buc Mike Nugent is the favorite to take his place.

CBSSports.com reports Baltimore Ravens head John Harbaugh said PK Steven Hauschka has the edge on the kicking competition over PK Graham Gano. Gano missed a field goal during the teams preseason game Monday, Aug. 24.
The Huddle Take: If Hauschka indeed wins the job, he'll be worth looking at as your Fantasy kicker because he'll likely get a lot of opportunities to put up points.

Edward Lee, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Ravens PK Steven Hauschka connected on all 14 of his field goal attempts during practice Wednesday, Aug. 5, including converting from 44, 49, 50 and 56 yards.
The Huddle Take: Reports like this from Hauschka and fellow kicking competitor Graham Gano mean the Ravens won't have to drag Matt Stover out of retirement.
