Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) was not at practice Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Huddle Up: Hurns didn't play last week either, so not practicing isn't a good start to his week. If he can't play again and/or if Marqise Lee regresses or is limited at all then Dede Westbrook could turn into a sneaky start, but that might be getting too cute.

  • Posted: 11/22/2017 8:37am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) is not expected to practice Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Huddle Up: Hurns' sizzle from his breakout campaign two seasons ago has all but fizzled out. He's potentially still worth stashing, but there isn't much upside in the offense to play him if he goes.

  • Posted: 11/21/2017 8:17am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) won't practice Tuesday, Nov. 21.

Huddle Up: Hurns has a 36-446-2 line in nine games this season, and this offense doesn't give him a lot of upside if he goes against the Arizona Cardinals.

  • Posted: 11/19/2017 9:21am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Keelan Cole will start in place of injured WR Allen Hurns (ankle) for Week 11's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Huddle Up: Cole has been targeted 13 times in the last two weeks and has six receptions for 108 yards over that span. He could be worth rostering in deeper seasonal fantasy leagues.

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) has been ruled out for the team's Week 11 game Sunday, Nov. 19, against the Cleveland Browns. He injured his ankle late in regulation Sunday, Nov. 12, versus the Los Angeles Chargers, and head coach Doug Marrone said it is 'unclear' when Hurns will be ready to play again.

Huddle Up: This is a tough blow for a Jaguars offense that is already limited in their passing game. However, if there's a silver lining, it's that Dede Westbrook should finally get a chance to show what he can do, as the 2017 fourth-round draft pick figures to be activated from the injured reserve list ahead of Sunday's contest. Marqise Lee is the safest play this weekend from Jacksonville's air attack but Westbrook could present the most value for owners in Week 11.

  • Posted: 11/13/2017 1:39pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) likely will not play in Week 11 because of the ankle injury he suffered in Week 10, according to head coach Doug Marrone.

Huddle Up: Owners should check later in the week to make sure Hurns is ruled out for the game. Dede Westbrook has a chance to return to the lineup in Week 11 and could receive a decent amount of playing time. Owners in deeper leagues should consider adding Westbrook if they have the roster space.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 3:06pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns caught three passes for 31 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Hurns was coming off a terrific Week 7 performance but has been held to under 40 yards in four of his last six games. He could be a flex option in some deeper leagues next week against the Los Angeles Chargers but can also stay on the bench if owners have better options.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 3:51pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns posted five receptions for 101 yards on eight targets in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Hurns hit the triple digits in yardage for the first time since Dec. 27, 2015 against the New Orleans Saints. He has stepped up as the most dependable option in the Jacksonville pass attack since Allen Robinson went down, but he still is without a touchdown in four straight outings. Treat him as more of a WR4 or flex play heading into Week 9 after the bye, and beware of Dede Westbrook stealing his thunder down the stretch.

  • Posted: 10/15/2017 8:44pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns posted three receptions for 37 yards on three targets in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Hurns was fairly productive once Allen Robinson went down in Week 1, scoring in Week 2 and Week 3. However, he has managed just nine catches for 100 yards on 16 targets over the past three outings. Treat him more as a low-end WR4 or flex play in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 7 on the road against the Indianapolis Colts.

  • Posted: 10/8/2017 2:01pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns posted two receptions for 21 yards on three targets in the Week 5 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Huddle Up: The Jaguars used a run-heavy offensive attack, crushing the value of Blake Bortles and the pass game. Hurns will look for better results for Week 6 against the Rams. Hurns is best used as a WR4 or flex option in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 2:21pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns caught four passes for 42 yards against the New York Jets in Week 4.

Huddle Up: Hurns has seen his targets vary each week, but he has targeted 10 times against the Jets. He will remain one of the starting receivers for the Jaguars but may not be a great fantasy option next week.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 10:00am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns caught three passes for 20 yards and one touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3.

Huddle Up: Hurns has been more involved in the passing game since Allen Robinson suffered his injury and should continue to see a solid amount of targets. He will have a favorable matchup in Week 4 but may only be a flex option in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 9/22/2017 12:44pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 3.

Huddle Up: Hurns moved up the depth chart when Allen Robinson suffered his injury and posted 82 yards and one touchdown in Week 2. He will be facing a tough Baltimore Ravens defense this week but could be a possible flex option in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 9/21/2017 2:57pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: Hurns has become one of the starting receivers because of the injury to Allen Robinson and is coming off a solid Week 2 performance when he posted 82 yards and one touchdown. He will have a tough matchup in Week 3 and could be benched if owners have better options available.

  • Posted: 9/20/2017 12:48pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: Hurns should be picked up in leagues where he's still available on the waiver wire. That being said, he's not a recommended start in Week 3 facing a Baltimore Ravens defense that has been a stalwart this season.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 5:29pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns posted six receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 against Tennessee on seven targets.

Huddle Up: Hurns scored late in garbage time, but fantasy owners do not care when the production comes. Hurns is worth scooping up for receiver depth in all fantasy leagues with Allen Robinson (knee) done for the season.

  • Posted: 8/23/2017 7:08am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns could be on the trade block, in the opinion of beat writer Ryan O'Halloran.

Huddle Up: Hurns had a breakout 64-1,031-10 season amidst a number of injuries two seasons ago and fell back into mediocrity last year. He could return to at least WR4 status in the right spot.

  • Posted: 8/14/2017 4:59pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (undisclosed) participated in practice Monday, Aug. 14, and appeared to be a full participant.

Huddle Up: Hurns missed a few practices because of his injury but should be ready to go moving forward. He is coming off a disappointing performance last season but should continue to be a top-three receiver for the Jaguars in 2017. He can be considered a late-round option in leagues as a No. 5 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 8/12/2017 11:10am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Saturday, Aug. 12.

Huddle Up: Hurns suffered the injury earlier this week and there is no timetable for his return. He is coming off a disappointing 2016 season but is in line for a solid role in the passing game this season. He could be a No. 5 fantasy receiver in some leagues if he recovers from his injury.

  • Posted: 8/8/2017 7:06pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Tuesday, Aug. 8.

Huddle Up: Hurns suffered the injury earlier this week, so owners should keep an eye on the situation. He had a disappointing 2016 season when he posted only 477 yards and three touchdowns but should still be a top-three receiver this season for the Jaguars. Owners could consider Hurns as a No. 5 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/7/2017 9:39am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (undisclosed) left practice Monday, Aug. 7, with a lower-body injury. Hurns got tangled up with a defender and remained down for several minutes before limping to the locker room.

Huddle Up: Hurns struggled with injuries in a down year last year. He still has quite a bit of luster as a back-end receiver in fantasy.

  • Posted: 7/16/2017 6:53pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns is one of Jacksonville's most consistent receivers, according to John Oehser of Jaguars.com, and Oehser believes Hurns will be a 'big factor' in the passing game this season.

Huddle Up: Hurns was one of the biggest busts in fantasy circles last season, but he had 10 touchdowns just a couple of years ago. He should still be the No. 2 or No. 3 option in the passing game, and Hurns is worth taking a chance on as a WR5.

  • Posted: 6/18/2017 1:16pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns likely will line up as a slot receiver in 2017, in the opinion of the Florida Times-Union's Ryan O'Halloran.

Huddle Up: Hurns is coming off a disappointing 2016 season where he missed five games and posted only 477 yards and three touchdowns. Hurns should have a solid role in the passing game if he is healthy this season and could be considered a No. 5 receiver in some fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 5/27/2017 12:29pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns said he knows he has to play better than he did in 2016 and has been working to improve during the offseason. Hurns has added some weight but has cut his body fat. He has also worked on improving his change of direction during routes and has been strengthening his legs to help avoid hamstring injuries.

Huddle Up: Hurns struggled with injuries in 2016 and finished with 35 receptions and 477 yards in 11 games. He likely will be a top three receiver for the Jaguars this upcoming season and should improve on his 2016 stats. He could be a No. 5 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/23/2016 11:37am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (hamstring) will miss his fourth consecutive game in Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: There's very little reason for Jacksonville to bring him back for Week 17, so Hurns will likely finish his season with 35 catches for 477 yards and three touchdowns over 11 games. Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee should see their usual work in a plus-matchup, but the Jaguars' dysfunctional offense makes both players hard to trust even as low-end WR3s.

  • Posted: 12/16/2016 8:16am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Marqise Lee had five catches for 113 yards last week. The Houston Texans provide a decent matchup for him as a nice flex option in fantasy.

  • Posted: 12/9/2016 8:33am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 14.

Huddle Up: Marqise Lee had nine targets and converted those for three catches for 34 yards last week. He'll have a bigger role in what will be a tough task against the Minnesota Vikings. He's a flex option this week.

  • Posted: 12/7/2016 1:13pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Huddle Up: Hurns missed last week's game and could miss another if he continues to miss practice. Marqise Lee would be the primary beneficiary if Hurns is out again, but he's only ideal as a flex start, if that, in a tough matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

  • Posted: 12/2/2016 8:27am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 13.

Huddle Up: Marqise Lee has been consistently decent the last four games with four catches in each and touchdowns in two straight games. The Denver Broncos pose a midrange matchup, but he could be a solid flex play with much of the attention on Allen Robinson.

  • Posted: 12/2/2016 8:03am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (hamstring) remains out of practice Friday, Dec. 2.

Huddle Up: It's never a good sign when a player misses practice Friday, but there is a glimmer of hope when it comes to Hurns. He missed a lot of practice time last season and suited up most of the time. That being said, Hurns' numbers have basically been cut in half this season, and he has four catches in the last three games. He's not a good start against the Denver Broncos.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 1:08pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (hamstring) is out of the game Sunday, Nov. 27, against the Buffalo Bills after he injured his hamstring.

Huddle Up: Hurns is a major part of Jacksonville's receiving corps with 34 catches, 465 yards and two touchdowns. Rashad Greene or Marqise Lee could see more action if Hurns has to miss some time.
