Nicholas J. Cotsonika, of the Detroit Free Press, reports Lions QB Matthew Stafford was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 19, but he is expected to play Week 11.

The Huddle Take: Stafford has seen limited practice work on a regular basis since suffering a knee injury, but once he returned to the lineup a couple weeks back he's taken every snap on game days. No reason to expect otherwise here.

Tom Kowalski, of Mlive.com, reports Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (knee) is still not 100 percent healthy. Head coach Jim Schwartz said, "Sometimes, he gets up and he can't put pressure on his knee and he hobbles his way off the field." Schwartz has praised Stafford for being able to play through the injury. Schwartz added, "We didn't know how he would deal with an injury and how he would play through it. He's proved that through the last couple weeks."

The Huddle Take: He's obviously not back to full strength, but it doesn't look like the Lions will be pulling Stafford any time soon. He has a chance to actually be a viable Fantasy option in deeper leagues this week as the Lions host Cleveland.

The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (knee) practiced Friday, Nov. 6, and is expected to play in Week 9.

The Huddle Take: Stafford will play, and hopefully he'll be in a much better rhythm than what he was last week after missing time due to injury. He'll have his number one receiver, Calvin Johnson, back on the field and that should help him have a much better statistical outing this week.

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (knee) was limited in practice Friday, Nov. 6, and is probable for Week 9.

The Huddle Take: Stafford should be fine to start, but he's not a recommended Fantasy option on the road against Seattle.

The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (knee) was participating during the media-access portion of practice Friday, Oct. 30.

The Huddle Take: Stafford should be set to make his return Sunday, and is a good bet to post solid-to-excellent numbers at home against the Rams.

ESPN, reports Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (knee) underwent another MRI on his injured knee, which will be examined by Dr. James Andrews Monday, Oct. 19, according to sources. Sources say the biggest concern is that Stafford's kneecap is loose enough to require surgery, which could cost him his season. The Lions hope rest will be able to heal the injury.

The Huddle Take: This is devastating news if it is true the injury is more serious than originally thought. With Daunte Culpepper also getting injured this week, the Lions season could potentially go from bad to worse very quickly.

The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 16. He is listed as questionable for Week 6.

The Huddle Take: Daunte Culpepper will likely start Week 6 against the Packers. He may be worth at least some starting consideration for your roster if you have bye week QB problems.

The Detroit Free Press, reports Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 15. He is considered questionable for Week 6.

The Huddle Take: Stafford continues to rehab his knee in hopes he can return to action soon but backup QB Daunte Culpepper is once again in line to get the start for Detroit in Week 6. Check Stafford's status this weekend but it doesn't appear likely he will see any playing time this week.

The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (knee) moved well during the team's practice Wednesday, Oct. 14. He did not look to be limited as he jogged, maneuvered lightly and threw some passes.

The Huddle Take: Stafford was not close to playing last week and his status for Sunday's game in Green Bay is up in the air. With Culpepper performing well last week the odds are good that Stafford will not be rushed back onto the field.

Nicholas J. Cotsonika, of the Detroit Free Press, reports Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said he will wait and see how QB Matthew Stafford recovers from his right knee injury this week before deciding whether he will start in Week 6. "He's improving," Schwartz said. "But it's way too early to make that decision."

The Huddle Take: Daunte Culpepper was just fine in place of Stafford, so there's no need to rush the rookie back before he's ready—especially if Calvin Johnson's knee injury keeps him out of the lineup.
