Huddle Up: Greene is still vying to hold off highly touted second-round pick Bishop Sankey for the Titans' starting RB gig, and the veteran has had the better rushing stats this preseason, averaging 5.1 yards per rush on 13 attempts and finding the end zone once. Stay tuned . . .

Huddle Up: The injury is to the same knee that Greene had two surgeries on last year, but he'll be considered day to day. Bishop Sankey will likely get an extended look with the first team in practice this week, which could bode well for the rookie.

Huddle Up: The extent of Greene's injury isn't known yet but if he's out for an extended period, it will open the door for rookie Bishop Sankey to see more carries. Greene is currently getting drafted in the Round 13 area, while Sankey has an ADP of Round 5.

Huddle Up: This isn't good news for a guy trying to win a starting job. Greene is coming off a year where he averaged 3.8 yards per carry and there have been reports that his roster spot in Tennessee may not be secure. All signs are pointing to rookie Bishop Sankey being the Titans top RB this season. Sankey currently carries an ADP of Round 5.

Huddle Up: Greene is the veteran fallback plan to Bishop Sankey, and while he may horn in on more action than Sankey owners would like to believe he'll be more of a complimentary piece in Tennessee than a true feature-back option.

Huddle Up: . . . rookie RB Bishop Sankey just keeps looking better and better.

Huddle Up: Greene is expected back by training camp, but if any complications arise, second-round pick Bishop Sankey -- the first RB selected in this year's draft -- will gain even more traction on fantasy draft boards.

Huddle Up: After back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons with the Jets, Greene only managed 295 yards and 4 TDs in 77 carries while backing up Chris Johnson last year. His 3.8 yards per carry was a career low, so don't be surprised if the Titans use a pick in the top 3 rounds to draft a RB to form a new 1-2 punch.

Huddle Up: Look for the Titans to draft a back in May, and depending how high of a pick they use, Greene could remain the No. 2 RB option in Nashville.

Huddle Up: This is bad news for Chris Johnson, who had a predictably bad week against the Seahawks.

Huddle Up: Favorable news for all the Jackie Battle owners out there as it'll be the 5th straight missed game for Greene, who hasn't played since rushing 4 times for 18 yards in the season opener.

Huddle Up: Greene was hurt in the opener, and Jackie Battle has been elevated to the No. 2 back behind Chis Johnson. Battle scored in Week 1, but was limited to 13 yards on 6 carries on Sunday.

Huddle Up: Greene had 18 yards on 4 carries before leaving with a second-quarter knee issue that's not believed to be serious. However, see if the RB can get in some practice work this week. Jackie Battle finished up as the No. 2 back behind starter Chris Johnson on Sunday and had 21 yards and a TD on 8 carries.
