Jeff Darlington, of The Miami Herald, reports Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano said he would like to get WR Patrick Turner more involved in the offense at some point this season. "I do want to get Patrick Turner involved. I don't want to have questions at the end of the year. I want to get him involved. He's got to keep working in practice like he is, and at some point his number is going to get called," Sparano said.
The Huddle Take: That Turner hasn't been able to crack the Dolphins' current rotation of Brian Hartline, Greg Camarillo, Davonne Bess and Ted Ginn suggests that maybe he's not quite ready just yet. Miami has no need to carry five receivers on game day because they don't throw the ball much anyway, so the rookie will have to continue to bide his time and wait for an opportunity.

Mike Berardino, of The South Florida Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins rookie WR Patrick Turner is a huge target at 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds. He also has soft hands, and is motivated to prove pre-draft doubters wrong.
The Huddle Take: Turner could fill a void in the Miami receiving corps, which is largely populated by speedy, undersized wideouts. Before you get too excited, however, remember that he's a rookie receiver in a system that is known more for its ground game than its aerial attack.

Tim Graham, of ESPN.com, reports Miami Dolphins WR Patrick Turner made a fine first impression during the team's rookie camp. Turner displayed soft hands and caught passes effortlessly.
The Huddle Take: Turner has an opportunity to provide a bigger, possession-type target for the Dolphins opposite Ted Ginn, and apparently he's off to a strong start.
