Huddle Up: Things continue to spiral in the wrong direction for the RB, who was recently released by the Jets after failing to show up for OTAs.

Huddle Up: Goodson had an opportunity to become the Jets' feature back last season, but his off-the-field shenanigans cost him that shot, and when he opted to stay away from minicamp this season the team had had enough.

Huddle Up: There's still time for the situation to change, but don't be surprised if the RB's time with the Jets is done, limited to 2 games and 7 rushes.

Huddle Up: Goodson has some off-the-field issues to deal with; meanwhile, the Jets have Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory. That combination adds up to Goodson quite likely not making the roster.

Huddle Up: Even if Goodson clears his legal hurdles, avoids league discipline and makes the Jets' final roster, touches figure to be hard to come by with Chris Johnson, Bilal Powell and Chris Ivory all established ahead of him on the team's RB depth chart.

Huddle Up: Goodson will get a second season in the Big Apple after being limited to 2 games and 80 yards from scrimmage due to a league disciplinary suspension and a knee injury in 2013.

Huddle Up: Chris Ivory looked capable of being the Jets' primary back last season, with Bilal Powell as his backup. Ivory has injury issues, but neither back carries Goodson's off-the-field baggage. The $650K bonus might be enough to convince the Jets he's not worth the trouble.

Huddle Up: Goodson could go from a 4-game substance-abuse suspension to 2 games of reserve action to injured reserve to another season-opening suspension next year. In the meantime, fantasy GMs will be busy lining up options they can actually count on.

Huddle Up: This spells more work for WRs Stephen Hill, Jeremy Kerley and Santonio Holmes -- when he returns -- and RB Chris Ivory.

Huddle Up: That is unfortunate for Goodson, who had just made it back from suspension. This does clear things up in that backfield, however. Bilal Powell and Chris Ivory are going to handle the load as long as they're healthy.

Huddle Up: With Goodson coming off a four-game suspension and Ivory back after missing Week 4, this will be the first time all 3 of the Jets' top backs will be active for a game -- not necessarily the best of news for Bilal Powell owners.

Huddle Up: Goodson doesn't have any fantasy value this week. However, if Chris Ivory continues to struggle with injuries and inconsistency, Goodson has a chance to push Bilal Powell for playing time in the coming weeks.

Huddle Up: Goodson's return coupled with Chris Ivory's could spell an end to Bilal Powell's reign as the feature back in New York. We don't know just how Goodson is going to fit in, but now is as good a time as ever to sell on Powell.

Huddle Up: Do you really want to put any fantasy stock in anyone on the Jets' offense until proven otherwise? Didn't think so.
