CBSSports.com reports Carolina Panthers RB Mike Goodson has been catching a lot of passes during practice and could see some action on third downs this season.
The Huddle Take: Carolina backs combined for 38 catches last season, with DeAngelo Williams accounting for 21 of them. Goodson enters the league with a reputation as a solid pass-catcher, but the Panthers are already trying to get both Williams and Jonathan Stewart touches; odds are they'll find a way to use one or both of those in third-down situations before turning that job over to Goodson.
