Cleveland Browns RBs Montario Hardesty and Chris Ogbonnaya are expected to compete for the No. 2 running back during training camp.
Huddle Up: It's a position not without value, as Trent Richardson has been prone to getting nicked. Hardesty has had trouble staying healthy himself, while Silent G is more of a pass-catching back though he did have a brief run as a fantasy helper the last time the Browns were down a couple backs. The fantasy value here is more as a handcuff to Richardson--but again, given his track record if you're a Richardson owner you'll want to have his backup on speed dial, if not on your roster.

The Cleveland Browns have re-signed free-agent RB Chris Ogbonnaya to a two-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Silent G is a solid third-down back, but he'll see limited touches as long as Trent Richardson stays healthy.

Cleveland Browns RB Chris Ogbonnaya might have a leg up in the battle for a roster spot with RB Montario Hardesty, as Ogbonnaya has also shown ability on special teams, especially on coverage. The Browns are adamant that they want their No. 3 running back to chip in on special teams. It's uncertain if Hardesty can, or is willing, to do so.
Huddle Up: With Brandon Jackson currently the Browns' No. 2 running back, the oft-injuredy Hardesty appears to be the odd man out in the battle for a roster spot. Ogbonnaya was a solid third-down back for the Browns last season and even had a 100-yard rushing game in relief of the injured Cleveland backs, but unless your league counts special teams tackles his fantasy contributions may be limited in 2012.
