Houston Texans WR Jaelen Strong has a chance to start in his rookie year, according to Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com.

Huddle Up: The third-round pick is vying with veteran free agents Cecil Shorts and Nate Washington and holdover Damaris Johnson to start opposite DeAndre Hopkins. But no matter who starts, look for the targets to be spread around in a passing game which doesn't figure to be overly dynamic anyway given the QB situation.

Arizona State WR Jaelen Strong (wrist) underwent several medical tests during his visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers and has cleared by their doctors. The Steelers will send the results of his tests to other teams so he does not have to be re-checked in Indianapolis.

Huddle Up: Initially there was concern that Strong may need surgery on his wrist, but if the rest of the league is willing to accept the Steelers' results you can remove one red flag from his draft dossier.

Updating a previous report, Arizona State WR Jaelen Strong (wrist) said he will not need surgery on his broken wrist.

Huddle Up: Initial reports suggested Strong would need surgery, but now it's looking like that won't be the case. Given that, it's unlikely the injury should do anything to his draft status, which projects to be anywhere from mid-first round to early on Day Two.
