Houston Texans WR Jaelen Strong was listed as the No. 2 wide receiver opposite WR DeAndre Hopkins on Houston's initial depth chart.

Huddle Up: Aside from an early two-TD game against Indy, Strong's rookie season a year ago was a major disappointment, as he finished with a 14-161-3 stat line, but he could prove to be a usable WR4 if he holds on the gig opposite Andre Hopkins with new QB Brock Osweiler in town.

Houston Texans WR Jaelen Strong has been impressive during organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp, impressing with seemingly more scoring plays than anyone.

Huddle Up: The 2015 third-round pick had a disappointing rookie campaign, finishing with only 14 catches for 161 yards and three TDs and eight receptions, 109 yards and two of those scores came in two games. Perhaps the additions of rookie wideouts Will Fuller and Braxton Miller have lit a fire under the second-year wideout.

Houston Texans WR Jaelen Strong is down to 197 pounds after weighing in at 230 pounds last season. An improved physique has already improved his game. 'I just said to him today how far he's come,' head coach Bill O'Brien said. 'I was concerned about him from a conditioning standpoint. He really at some point in time before training camp, he came back and passed the conditioning test and really took off after that.'

Huddle Up: Something about the Texans spending early draft picks on Will Fuller and Braxton Miller lit a fire under Strong as he battles to save his spot in the Houston receiver rotation.

Houston Texans WR Jaelen Strong was allegedly arrested for marijuana possession in Phoenix Sunday, Feb. 28. Strong was taken into custody and later released. Officers said they detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle in which Strong was the passenger. Strong allegedly admitted he was in possession of some marijuana and did not have a medical marijuana card.

Huddle Up: The driver of the vehicle was Green Bay cornerback Damarious Randall, who was released at the scene. You can bet the league will have a sit-down with both players, and even if the case against Strong isn't pursued both will at minimum enter the league's substance abuse program and could wind up missing a game or two down the road.

Houston Texans rookie WR Jaelen Strong has improved in practice, in his knowledge of the game and in his conditioning, according to head coach Bill O'Brien. O'Brien added that he believes Strong has a good future ahead of him.

Huddle Up: The third-round pick only has had eight receptions for 105 yards, but three of his catches have went for TDs, giving one solid reason for hope going forward.
