Updating a previous report, the Carolina Panthers agreed to terms with WR Tiquan Underwood (Buccaneers) on a two-year contract Friday, March 21. Underwood is likely to compete for the third wide receiver position and on special teams as a kick returner.
Huddle Up: The Panthers are wafer-thin at wide receiver, so Underwood is actually in the mix for significant playing time. That's not necessarily a good thing.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Tiquan Underwood appears to be the leading candidate to start in place of WR Mike Williams (hamstring). WR Chris Owusu could take over the No. 3 wide receiver duties.
Huddle Up: The receiver situation in Tampa Bay is bleak. Underwood is worth an addition as a flier, but don't expect much out of him.
