Updating a previous report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Tom Crabtree suffered a significant ankle sprain and is out indefinitely.
Huddle Up: Crabtree was bucking for playing time in Tampa. His absence leaves the Buccaneers with Luke Stocker and unproven depth behind him. The team may be hitting the waiver wires when cuts are made, looking for a veteran tight end to back up Stocker.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Tom Crabtree is expected to push TE Luke Stocker for the starting tight end job and could become the team's primary pass-catching tight end this season.
Huddle Up: Crabtree had 18 career receptions in 16 starts in Green Bay where he was stuck behind Jermichael Finley, but at 6-5 and 240 pounds, he's certainly athletic enough to push the no-frills Stocker, who had 16 grabs for 165 yards and a TD last season.
