Washington Redskins Darrel Young's (hamstring) status is unclear
moving forward after suffering a setback in the team's Week 15 game.
"We sat him down for two and a half, three weeks," coach Mike
Shanahan said Monday at Redskins Park. "Usually that's plenty of
time to get a hamstring back [healthy]. He set himself back a little
against the Falcons. I'm hoping it's not as serious as it was
before. We'll test him out here over the next couple of days and get
a better feel for him."
Huddle Up: Young exploded for 4 TDs in a 3-game span over Weeks 9-11 but hasn't
played since. Definitely take your search for deep-league, late-
season fantasy gold elsewhere.

Washington Redskins FB Darrel Young scored three touchdowns in Week 9 against the San Diego Chargers. However, beat writer John Keim believes it is not a trend, but a wrinkle geared toward specific defenses that do not slant their line as much, leaving gaps for straight-ahead runners like Young to excel.
Huddle Up: Young scored on three fullback dives. He had two carries coming into last week, so his success was obviously gameplan related. Young isn't a recommended fantasy option going forward.
