The Cleveland Browns have placed WR Jordan Norwood (foot) on the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return list. In a corresponding move, the team signed practice squad WR Joshua Cooper to their active roster. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Tough news for the Browns and Norwood, who led the squad with 9 catches for 81 yards last week in only his second outing of the season. With fellow wideouts Mohamed Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin unlikely to play in Week 6 with hamstring injuries, it'll be up to Greg Little, Josh Gordon and Cooper to pick up the slack Sunday against the Bengals.

Cleveland Browns WR Jordan Norwood (foot) was seen on crutches and in a walking boot Thursday, Oct. 11. WR Joshua Cooper could be promoted from the practice squad in Week 6 to account for all the injured receivers on the roster.
Huddle Up: This is a bad break for Norwood, who looked like he was coming into his own in the slot when injuries to other receivers pressed him into service. His nine-catch, 81-yard performance last week might have been his only good performance of the season if the other receivers stay healthy from here on out.

Cleveland Browns WR Jordan Norwood will likely see his first action
of the season in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens Thursday, Sept.
27, with WR Mohamed Massaquoi (hamstring) out. Norwood had 23
catches for 268 yards and a touchdown in four starts last year.
Huddle Up: Even though the Ravens' defense hasn't exactly been the Ravens'
defense so far, you'd have to be in a pretty deep league to consider
going anywhere near Norwood this week.
