Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 44 yards on 11 carries against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10. He also caught three passes for 19 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: Coleman has been a part of the running and passing game this season and likely will continue to share playing time with Ito Smith moving forward. He can be at least a flex option next week against the Dallas Cowboys.

  • Posted: 11/10/2018 7:13pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman faces the Cleveland Browns in Week 10, and the Browns have allowed an NFL-high 14 rushing touchdowns this season.

Huddle Up: Coleman has four touchdowns in the last three games coming into Week 10, and he has a golden opportunity to add to the total against Cleveland. He can be a high-end RB2, especially in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 11/4/2018 5:17pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed 13 times for 88 yards and caught five passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-14 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 9.

Huddle Up: It was Coleman's best rushing performance since Week 2, and he now has four touchdowns in his last three games. He'll be a RB2 candidate against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.

  • Posted: 10/22/2018 8:40pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed 11 times for 50 yards and a 30-yard rushing score in Week 7 against the New York Giants on Monday, Oct. 22, and he added two receptions for 32 yards.

Huddle Up: Coleman's rushing average would have been dismal if not for his big scoring run. Fantasy owners will need to make alternate plans with the Falcons off in Week 8.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 7:57pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed 10 times for 35 yards and caught one pass for six yards in a 34-29 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6.

Huddle Up: Coleman hasn't exactly stood out during Devonta Freeman's absence, but until Freeman returns, he will have RB2 potential on volume alone.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 1:26pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 15 yards on seven carries against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5. He also caught two passes for 15 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: Coleman appeared to have a good matchup this week but did not have much success against the Steelers. He should have another good matchup next week and can be a flex option in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/5/2018 11:36am ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (shin) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 5, and is not on the injury report for Week 5.

Huddle Up: Coleman will lose some touches with Devonta Freeman back in the lineup, but he still has a solid role in the offense. He can be at least a flex option for owners because of his favorable matchup.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 1:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (shin) was able to practice fully Thursday, Oct. 4.

Huddle Up: Coleman's value takes a hit this week with the return of Devonta Freeman, but he shouldn't be altogether dismissed. He's an RB2 or flex consideration in scrumptious Week 5 matchup.

  • Posted: 10/3/2018 3:43pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (shin) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Huddle Up: Coleman likely will lose the starting job with Devonta Freeman expected to play, but he should still have a solid role in the offense. He can be a low-end No. 2 running back or a flex option for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 2:55pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed 14 times for 51 yards in Week 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals and he added three receptions for 26 yards on three targets.

Huddle Up: Coleman has averaged 15 rushes and 18 touches over the past three games, handling a lion's share of the backfield touches with Devonta Freeman (knee) on the shelf. Despite the increased workload he hasn't really been a fantasy stud. He is still only worth using as an RB3 or flex fantasy option as long as Freeman is on the shelf. The Falcons travel to meet the Steelers in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 4:32pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed 15 times for just 33 yards in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints and he registered two catches for 14 yards and a score.

Huddle Up: Coleman was mostly bottled up in the backfield, salvaging the stat line for fantasy owners with the receiving touchdown. He was serving as the primary back for the second straight weekend with Devonta Freeman (knee) sidelined again. The Falcons host the Bengals, and Coleman is a decent RB3 or flex fantasy option if he starts again, as Carolina's Christian McCaffrey shredded the Cincy rush D in Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 2:53pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed 16 times for 107 yards in the Week 2 win against the Carolina Panthers while adding four receptions for 18 yards.

Huddle Up: Coleman was getting a chance to handle the full workload with Devonta Freeman (knee) on the shelf. As long as Freeman is sidelined it appears Coleman has RB2 fantasy value in all leagues. The Falcons will host the Saints in Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/6/2018 9:58pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman gained 45 total yards (19 rushing, 26 receiving) and scored the team's lone touchdown during their 18-12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Thirty-five of Coleman's 45 yards came on two plays, leaving just 10 yards for his other eight touches. Despite being bottled up most of the game it was Coleman that found the end zone, and word of Devonta Freeman hurting his knee could thrust Coleman into a larger role. Monitor Freeman's condition and be ready to elevate Coleman to must-start status if Freeman misses games.

  • Posted: 5/30/2018 3:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman said the team 'wants' to use him more, like line him up out wide and 'stuff like that.' Head coach Dan Quinn confirmed this, adding how they want to get both running backs 'really involved' in the passing game. He also thought Coleman made a 'big jump' last season.

Huddle Up: Coleman will be entering a contract year, so he'll certainly be extra motivated to outperform his first three years in the league. It's worth noting that Coleman's touches have increased in each of his seasons, starting with 89 as a rookie before recording 149 and 163 touches, respectively, over the last two years. Still, though, with Devonta Freeman around, Coleman is more of a FLEX option to target.

  • Posted: 2/17/2018 8:17pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman would have trade value, according to a high-ranking AFC evaluator. 'Great complement to a starter and he could fill the role as a starting running back,' the evaluator said. 'Great speed and athleticism.'

Huddle Up: Coleman still has a year remaining on his current deal, so he is likely slated for another year of backing up Devonta Freeman. Even in that role, Coleman has potential as a flex play because of his ability to find the end zone.

  • Posted: 1/19/2018 6:59pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman could remain a part of the backfield beyond 2018, according to general manager Thomas Dimitroff.

Huddle Up: Coleman has one year left on his current deal, and since Atlanta already locked up Devonta Freeman, it would be a bit of a surprise to if the Falcons also gave Coleman an extension. In the meantime, he'll remain one of the more attractive backup running backs for 2018.

  • Posted: 1/13/2018 5:05pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 79 yards on 10 carries in the Divisional Round playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles Saturday, Jan. 13. He also caught one pass for 14 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: Coleman receives a lot of touches even though he is not the starter and should have a similar role next season. He can be a No. 3 or No. 4 running back in fantasy drafts in 2018 and could be a weekly flex option.

  • Posted: 1/6/2018 9:01pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed 14 times for 40 yards and caught three passes for 28 yards in a 26-13 win over the Los Angeles Rams Saturday, Jan. 6.

Huddle Up: After being used somewhat sparingly in the final weeks of the regular season, Coleman nearly split touches evenly with Devonta Freeman in this one. Freeman is still the preferred back to target, but Coleman has flex appeal if you are playing fantasy football during the playoffs.

  • Posted: 12/24/2017 6:21pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed six times for 12 yards and caught four passes for 40 yards and a touchdown in a 23-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Coleman wasn't great running the ball, but he made an impact in the passing game. Back from a concussion, Coleman will be a flex option in the season finale against the Carolina Panthers.

  • Posted: 12/22/2017 3:57pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Coleman probably will share playing time with Devonta Freeman and will be involved in the running and passing game. He can be a flex option in most fantasy leagues this week.

  • Posted: 12/21/2017 3:20pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 21.

Huddle Up: Coleman likely will share playing time with Devonta Freeman in Week 16 and will be involved in the passing game. He can be a flex option in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/21/2017 9:34am ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) has cleared the concussion protocol Thursday, Dec. 21, according to head coach Dan Quinn.

Huddle Up: The New Orleans Saints have been susceptible to the RBs the last five weeks, and it's a good matchup for Coleman. With Devonta Freeman playing so well, Coleman could be tapered back a bit. He's an RB2 or flex option this week.

  • Posted: 12/19/2017 8:16am ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol Tuesday, Dec. 19.

Huddle Up: Coleman's status is dicey for Week 16, and if he's out again, Devonta Freeman proved to be one of the best backs in the game Monday night. He'd be another slam-dunk RB1 against the New Orleans Saints.

  • Posted: 12/16/2017 9:50am ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) will not play in Week 15 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Huddle Up: It should be the Devonta Freeman show on Monday night, but the Falcons haven't always been willing to treat him as a featured back. Either way, he should be a near-lock for 20 touches in a good matchup against a defense missing at least two key front-seven players in Lavonte David and DT Gerald McCoy. Freeman should be in all fantasy lineups this weekend.

  • Posted: 12/15/2017 2:33pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 15.

Huddle Up: Coleman will need to be cleared by doctors before he is allowed to play, so owners will need to monitor the situation. He is a risky option since the Falcons play on Monday Night Football, so owners may want to use other options in their lineups this week.

  • Posted: 12/14/2017 3:35pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: Coleman had to depart late in the club's win over the Saints last Thursday, and it appears like at the moment that he won't be ready in time to return on Monday night, as he's still in the concussion protocol. That means Devonta Freeman will be locked in with an even bigger workload than usual, making him one of the more enticing RB1 options of the week.

  • Posted: 12/14/2017 9:43am ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol Thursday, Dec. 14, according to head coach Dan Quinn.

Huddle Up: Friday will be a big day for Coleman, but Devonta Freeman could have just that against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers if Coleman is out.

  • Posted: 12/8/2017 10:55am ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) was placed in the league's concussion protocol Friday, Dec. 8.

Huddle Up: Coleman suffered the injury of late in Thursday's win over the New Orleans Saints, but he will have 10 days to recover as the Falcons do not play again until Monday Night Football to wrap up Week 15. Devonta Freeman enjoyed a 24-9 advantage in touches over Coleman in Week 14 and projects for even more work versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers if Coleman is not cleared in time.

  • Posted: 12/7/2017 8:58pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed nine times for 32 yards in a 20-17 win over the New Orleans Saints Thursday, Dec. 7.

Huddle Up: Coleman has just 17 carries for 54 yards in the two games since Devonta Freeman returned to the lineup, and Coleman is back to being a flex option for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 12/3/2017 1:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 22 yards on eight carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. He also caught three passes for 27 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: Coleman returned to his normal role on offense with Devonta Freeman back in the lineup and will be involved in the running and passing game moving forward. He can be a flex option in point-per-reception leagues next week.

  • Posted: 11/26/2017 1:56pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Coleman received most of the work at running back with Devonta Freeman out and could have a similar role next week if Foreman remains sidelined. He should be considered a No. 2 running back or a flex option in all leagues if he starts.

  • Posted: 11/20/2017 8:59pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman managed 20 carries for 43 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 11 victory Monday, Nov. 20, versus the Seattle Seahawks. He also added one catch for 15 yards.

Huddle Up: Thanks to a one-yard touchdown plunge in the first quarter, Coleman was able to deliver a worthwhile outing for his fantasy owners in the absence of Devonta Freeman (concussion). However, owners shouldn't get too comfortable in rolling with the 24-year-old, as there's a good chance Freeman returns to action in Week 12. If that's the case, Coleman would be tough deploying outside the deepest formats.

  • Posted: 11/15/2017 3:59pm ET

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman might be called upon to start in Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks with RB Devonta Freeman (concussion) uncertain. Head coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday, Nov. 15, that the team is confident in Coleman's ability to shoulder the load.

Huddle Up: Coleman, who hasn't lost a fumble in 30 games, might be the workhorse against the Seattle Seahawks. While it's not a particularly attractive fantasy matchup, he is a decent low-end RB2 or flex option if Freeman is inactive.
