Oakland Raiders head coach Art Shell stated during his Monday, 10/30, press conference that despite Aaron Brooks (pectoral) being ready to return to practice this week, Andrew Walter will remain the starting quarterback for week nine.
Huddle Up: What has to be the slowest healing pectoral in the history of the NFL, this situation seems more like, "Hey Aaron, take a few more weeks to make sure you are ready." Art Shell is in no hurry to derail his fragile team's recent success with putting the mistake-prone Brooks back in the lineup.

Oakland Raiders starting QB Andrew Walter left Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals with a hamstring injury. Walter was injured when he was sacked by Bertrand Berry in the third quarter. The Oakland QB was 17/30 for 263 yards and 1 touchdown but was intercepted 1 time and lost 2 fumbles. "I was jogging back out there to go in, but they made their decision," said Walter.
Huddle Up: Walter should not be starting for your fantasy team unless you have no other choice.

Raiders backup QB Andrew Walter will start the team's game in Denver on Sunday as No. 1 QB Aaron Brooks continues his recovery from a strained pectoral muscle suffered on Sept. 17.
Huddle Up: Walter has started two straight games since Brooks' injury and, to put it kindly, he has struggled in those contests. Now the Raiders face the Broncos' No. 2-ranked defense in Denver. Fantasy owners who plug Walter into their starting lineups are basically giving up.
