All challengers fall in the FFCoT, SOFA and FFH fantasy football leagues.
Lake Tahoe, NV - May 17, 2007: The Huddle continued its winning ways in 2006. For the past seven NFL seasons the SOFA Fantasy Football Leagues have brought together some of the top fantasy football experts to compete in a highly competitive contest that spans three formats -- redraft, auction and IDP. For the second year in a row The Huddle made the playoffs in all three 2006 SOFA leagues. Also for the second season in a row, Whitney Walters and his team in the classic redraft league brought home the championship. Whitney Walters is the co-founder of The Huddle and has been a contributor to the fantasy football industry for more than eleven years. He's proud to bring home this league championship, adding it to his growing list of industry accomplishments.
Huddle co-founder David Dorey has a long history of fantasy football championships, and in 2006 he added a big trophy to his collection -- The Fantasy Football Championship of Texas. David competed against 191 of the top fantasy players in the state of Texas and brought home the $10,000 grand prize. David Dorey has been a contributor to the fantasy football industry for over twelve years and he's the mastermind behind much of what The Huddle web site publishes, especially it's pre-season player rankings and analysis. He also has the distinction of being one of the only industry experts to finish in the top seven of the Fantasy Football Index Experts Poll in five of the past six seasons, winning it all in 2004.
Also taking home a championship for The Huddle was staff writer Paul Sandy. Paul has been a contributor and analyst for The Huddle since 2003 and has been involved in the fantasy industry for eight years. His win in the Fantasy Football Helpers Invitational League was hard fought, but he came out ahead of a strong group of fantasy football industry experts.
