These statistics are based upon fantasy football points for the average total, passing and rushing yards and scores allowed by a defense per game. This yields a more overall indication of how effective a defense has been against opponents.
This ranking shows for the average game, how many yards and TD's a defense is allowing through the air or on the ground. The averages are determined using the most current eight games, dropping the highest and lowest games. It is sorted by fantasy football points calculated at 1 point per 10 yards rushing, 1 point per 25 yards passing, 3 points per passing touchdown and 6 points for all other touchdowns allowed.
