Garrett Hartley, Saints –
From postseason hero to Week 1 shank artist; Sean Payton says his job is safe, but you know they've got the likes of Shayne Graham and Kris Brown on speed dial just in case. There's still plenty of upside in kicking for a high-octane offense like the Saints... as long as he keeps that gig.

David Buehler, Cowboys –
Buehler was on the hot seat throughout the preseason but appeared to secure the job with a big game in the exhibition finale. And then he missed a couple treys in the Cowboys' Week 1 debacle; now he's back to a precarious perch.
