Cedric Benson, RB, CIN – Undisclosed Leg Injury
Benson was helped to the sideline after suffering an undisclosed lower leg injury in the second half. The team is calling the injury minor, however his status for Week 4 is unknown.
Jahvid Best, RB, DET – Undisclosed Toe Injury
Best injured his toe and spent a majority of the second half on the sideline. The severity of the injury and his status for the team’s next game are unknown.
Brett Favre, QB, MIN – Stinger
Favre suffered a stinger in the second half but he stayed in the game and played through the injury. The Vikings have a bye in Week 4 so he should recover in time for the team’s next game.
DeSean Jackson, WR, PHI – Undisclosed Forearm Injury
According to reports Jackson suffered an injury to his forearm in the first quarter and briefly left the game. He was able to return and he had a big day finishing with over 150 yards receiving and a touchdown. The injury does not appear to be serious.
Steven Jackson, RB, STL – Strained Groin
Jackson pulled his groin in the second quarter and he was forced to leave the game. The severity of the injury and his status for the team’s next game are unknown.
Andre Johnson, WR, HOU – Sprained Ankle
Johnson briefly left Sunday’s game after aggravating his ankle injury. He returned and finished the game with 4 catches for 64 yards. The injury does not appear to be serious, but he will likely miss practice this week while he recovers.
Ray Rice, RB, BAL – Undisclosed Knee Injury
Rice reportedly injured his knee in the fourth quarter on Sunday and he missed the team’s final two offensive possessions. Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that Rice did not damage any ligaments, however Rice is still scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday.
Visanthe Shiancoe, TE, MIN – Undisclosed Leg Injury
Shiancoe reportedly suffered a lower leg injury during Sunday’s game. The nature of the injury and his status for the team’s next game are unknown.
Demaryius Thomas, WR, DEN – Undisclosed Shoulder Injury
Thomas left the game after appearing to hurt his shoulder while trying to catch a pass in the endzone late in the game. The nature of the injury and his status for the team’s next game are unknown.
Pierre Thomas, RB, NO – Undisclosed Leg Injury
Thomas injured his leg in the second half, however he was able to return and finish the game. The injury does not appear to be serious.
