Pittsburgh Steelers –
The Steel Curtain has been dominant through the season's first fortnight, and with Troy Polamalu healthy they're making the kind of plays that lead to fantasy points.
Buffalo Bills –
The Bills have been a sneaky source of fantasy help, but with Bobby April gone the special teams are anything but and the defense has yet to create a turnover this season.

Completely agree that fantasy is different from reality. But I see several teams that have better fantasy outlooks that are rated lower. I guess we'll see how things pan out. BTW, I'm a huge Giant fan.

There's a difference between being the #7 defense and the #7 fantasy defense. In most scoring systems, including the one these rankings are based upon, fantasy points come from sacks, turnovers, defensive TDs, etc. Going forward the Giants are still one of the better threats to accumulate points via those stats, their poor game plan and even poorer execution against Indy notwithstanding.

The Giants at #7?? Seriously?? Did you watch Sunday night's game? They turned the Colts into a running team. No #7 defense should be giving that kind of running yardage to Indy.
