This is a brief recap of the injuries occurring during Sunday's games. A complete in-depth injury report will be published on Tuesday.

Jay Cutler, QB, CHI – Concussion

Cutler was knocked from the game Sunday night after he absorbed nine sacks. He has been diagnosed with a concussion. The severity of the injury and his status for next week's game is uncertain until further tests can be done.

Justin Gage, WR, TEN – Hamstring Injury

Gage left Sunday’s game in the first quarter after suffering a hamstring leg injury and did not return. The nature and severity of the injury is unknown.

Bruce Gradkowski, QB, OAK – Undisclosed Shoulder Injury

Gradkowski appeared to injure his shoulder in the third quarter on Sunday. He was taken to the locker room where he was examined and treated, but he later returned to the game. The severity of the injury and his status for the team’s next game are unknown.
 
Jacoby Jones, WR, HOU – Undisclosed Leg Injury

Jones left Sunday’s game after suffering an undisclosed leg injury in the second half and did not return. The nature and severity of the injury is unknown.

Ryan Matthews, RB, SD – Undisclosed Elbow Injury

According to reports Matthews was limited in today’s game because of an injured elbow that occurred in practice last week. The nature of the injury has not been reported and his status for Week 5 is unknown.

Darren McFadden, RB, OAK – Strained Hamstring

McFadden strained his hamstring in the fourth quarter. The severity of the injury and his status for the team’s next game are unknown.

Willis McGahee, RB, BAL – Head Injury

McGahee took a hard hit in the third quarter Sunday and didn't return to the game. Post-game report indicate the injury is not serious and McGahee should be good to go for the team’s next game.

Clinton Portis, RB, WAS – Strained Groin

Portis pulled his groin muscle on Sunday and he did not finish the game. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 5 are unknown.

Asante Samuel, DB, PHI – Concussion

Samuel left Sunday’s game after taking a knee to the helmet. He was diagnosed with a concussion on the sideline and did not return. The severity of the injury is currently unknown, however his status for Week 5 is questionable.

Jordan Shipley, WR, CIN – Concussion

Shipley left Sunday’s game with a concussion and did not return. The severity of the injury and his status for the team’s next game are unknown.

Steve Smith, WR, CAR – Undisclosed Ankle Injury

Smith left Sunday’s game in the second half after hurting his ankle and had to be carted to the locker room. According to reports X-rays were negative, however he was seen wearing an air-cast after the game and there is concern that the injury is a serious sprain.

Michael Vick, QB, PHI – Undisclosed Clavicle and Rib Injuries

Vick left Sunday’s game after suffering undisclosed injuries to the clavicle in his shoulder and his ribs. There was initial speculation that Vick fractured his clavicle as well as broke three of his ribs, but the Eagles have confirmed that x-rays show no broken bones. Further tests will be done to determine the severity if the injury and his possible playing status for week 5.
