Kevin Kolb, Eagles –
Kolb played like everyone expected him to right out of the gate this year in his last game. The question is now will he do it two weeks in a row? There is every reason to think he can, and if he does, he’ll make it awful tough for Vick to recapture the starting job. If he has the good game this week, he’s likely the starter for good.
Matthew Stafford, Lions –
Stafford is on a bye this week, so this is the week to grab him off waivers if he was dropped when he got hurt in week one. With Shaun Hill out for a while, Stafford will play after the bye. There are a lot of nice stats to be had here, so grab him now and be happy.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bills –
Fitzpatrick moves up again even without playing, more because those around him slipped down than anything, but the reality is, so far the Bills have been much better offensively with Ryan behind center, and while he’s not an every week starter, he’s good enough to be a nice back up or bye week spot starter.
Colt McCoy, Browns –
He’s not the full time starter yet, but the fact of the matter is that he’s the future quarterback of the Browns, and if he continues to play no worse than Seneca Wallace and Jake Delhomme he could keep playing even after next week. A stud, no, but for now he’s a starter and cracks our rankings. |
