Dan Carpenter, Dolphins –
Back-to-back games with five field goals—and 13 treys in the last three games, more than 22 teams have on the season—gets you noticed. A gig with an offense that's good enough to get there but struggling to close sets up Carpenter well for the rest of the way.

Matt Prater, Broncos –
The Broncos aren't giving Prater many opportunities to kick; he's has more than two PAT attempts just once this season and only one multiple field goal game in the last month. Worse, it's trending in the wrong direction: over the past two games, only two kickers have scored fewer points.
