Welcome to another edition of The Huddle’s IDP Sleeper Report. The following IDPs were found on either a 12 or 16 IDP league’s waiver wire. Good luck this season and feel free to email me at huddledarin@yahoo.com if you want to suggest a player or discuss my picks. Good luck this season!
LINEBACKERS
Kavell Conner (IND): We highlighted him in the Deep Sleepers piece, but he should also be a nice fill-in this week for those that have a need at LB.
Joe Mays (DEN): With D.J. Williams potentially out, Mays will man the productive ILB spot for the Broncos. Great one-week filler.
Other to Consider: Channing Crowder (MIA)
DEFENSIVE LINEMEN
Darryl Tapp (DE – PHI): He’s been incredibly disappointing after coming east to Philadelphia, but this should be a cherry matchup for Tapp and the Eagle front seven.
Jeremy Mincey (DT – JAC): He’s listed as a tackle in MyFantasyLeague, but is working on the end and is getting a tremendous amount of snaps for the Jag D. He has a high motor and we like the matchup against the G-men this week a bit.
Other to Consider: Roy Miller (TBB)
DEFENSIVE BACKS
Craig Dahl (S – STL): OJ Atogwe has been a solid fantasy safety for years and Dahl is a hot-and-cold performer playing alongside. We like the matchup against the Broncos enough this week to recommend both guys.
Dimitri Patterson (CB – PHI): Patterson’s been on fire lately and may be on your league’s waiver wire. Great matchup in what should be a shootout against the Bears.
Other to Consider: Glover Quin (HOU)
Week 11 Results
LINEBACKERS
Nic Harris/Jordan Senn (CAR): Neither of the Panther OLBs had good outings this past week.
Kevin Bentley (HOU): Bentley totally filled the stat box up last week and is a nice option moving forward.
Jarrett Johnson (BAL): Forced a fumble, didn’t do much else.
Danny Clark (NOS): Didn’t do much. Not much to give thanks for here.
DEFENSIVE LINEMEN
C.J. Wilson (DE – GBP): Had the opportunity, didn’t do anything with it.
Ahtyba Rubin (DT – CLE): Rubin is a solid option not only in DT leagues but even in leagues that lump DT in with DE.
Tony McDaniel (MIA): The vet is now starting opposite Randy Starks and has put up decent stats. Worth a look in deep leagues.
DEFENSIVE BACKS
Aaron Francisco (S – IND): The Colt secondary has been a M*A*S*H unit.
Jabari Greer (CB – NOS): 7 solos from a corner is solid. Good option in CB leagues.
Charlie Peprah (S – GBP): Even as the starting SS for the Pack, he’s put up paltry numbers. Quickly went from sleeper to sleeping.
