Welcome to the final edition of The Huddle’s IDP Sleeper Report for 2010. The following IDPs were found on either a 12 or 16 IDP league’s waiver wire. Good luck this week if you’re still playing! See you in 2011!
LINEBACKERS
Jamar Chaney (PHI): With four of the better Philly LBs set to become free agents this summer, the Eagles will definitely want a long look at this guy in the middle.
Cameron Wake (MIA): He had a solid effort against the Pats Week 4, and will look to pad those 14 sacks here in Week 17.
Other to Consider: David Bowens (CLE)
DEFENSIVE LINEMEN
Raheem Brock (DE – SEA): If the Seahawks have any chance at a win, it will be based on solid defensive pressure on the rookie QB. Sam Bradford has developed well in his rookie season and could tear up this Seattle defense, but Brock could have some solid fantasy numbers this week.
Fred Robbins (DT – STL): And conversely, the Ram defense should have a field day against Charlie Whitehurst. Robbins had a great Week 16 and could keep hot.
Other to Consider: Ryan Pickett (DE - GBP)
DEFENSIVE BACKS
Thomas DeCoud (S – ATL): The Falcons are bitter and are going to put a good ole smack down on the Panthers.
Bradley Fletcher (CB – STL): Good chance Fletcher will get a chance at picking off Charlie Whitehurst this week.
Other to Consider: Roy Williams (S - CIN)
Week 16 Results
LINEBACKERS
Matt Roth (CLE): A solid 12 fantasy points. Could have been valuable as a LB3 in most formats.
Mario Haggan (DEN): Worthless this week.
Kevin Bentley (HOU): Worthless this week.
DEFENSIVE LINEMEN
Brett Keisel (DE – PIT): Solid effort for the Steeler vet, tallying 14.5 fantasy points.
Antonio Garay (DT – SDC): Worthless this week.
Tony McDaniel (DE - MIA): Worthless this week.
DEFENSIVE BACKS
Craig Dahl (S – STL): The two pass defenses were nice, but he didn’t do much else. Odd.
Dwight Lowery/Brodney Pool (S – NYJ): Lowery got loose for a defensive TD and Pool had 3 pass deflections and checked in with 10.5 fantasy points.
Brent Grimes (CB - ATL): Six solos, not bad. Would have liked to see some pass deflections (like his FIVE the week prior).
