This is a brief recap of the injuries occurring during Sunday's games. A complete in-depth injury report will be published on Tuesday.

Miles Austin, WR, DAL - Strained Hamstring

Austin reportedly aggravated his hamstring in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game. His status for Week 3 is currently unknown but early indications are that he could miss the next two games.

Jamaal Charles, RB, KC - Torn ACL

Charles reportedly suffered a torn left ACL during Sunday’s game. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday and if it confirms that the ACL is torn he will miss the remainder of the season.

Braylon Edwards, WR, SF - Undisclosed Knee Injury

Edwards left Sunday’s game with an undisclosed knee injury and did not return. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 3 are currently unknown.

Malcom Floyd, WR, SD - Strained Groin

Floyd suffered a strained groin during Sunday’s game and was unable to play in the second half. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 3 are currently unknown.

Arian Foster, RB, HOU - Strained Hamstring

Foster reportedly aggravated his injured hamstring in the second quarter of Sunday’s game and did not play in the second half. Head coach Gary Kubiak said that he was held out not just because he tweaked his hamstring but also because he was fatigued. Foster’s status for Week 3 is currently unknown.

Antonio Gates, TE, SD - Undisclosed

Gates just didn't seem himself during the game today and spent most of the fourth quarter on the sideline. We should know more after the pressers on Monday.

Aaron Hernandez, TE, NE - Undisclosed Leg Injury

Hernandez suffered an undisclosed leg injury during Sunday’s game and he was seen limping badly in the locker room afterwards. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 3 are currently unknown.

Steve Johnson, WR, BUF - Groin Strain

Johnson was in and out of Sunday’s game because of a strained groin. His status for Week 3 is currently unknown.

Felix Jones, RB, DAL - Undisclosed Arm Injury

Jones was in and out of Sunday’s game with an undisclosed arm injury. The nature of the injury and his status for Week 3 are currently unknown.

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, PIT - Undisclosed Knee Injury

Roethlisberger injured his knee in the second quarter on Sunday and he headed for the locker room before the end of the half. But he was able to return and finish the game. The injury is not believed to be serious, but he is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday as a precaution.

Tony Romo, QB, DAL - Fractured Rib

Romo left Sunday’s game in the second quarter after fracturing a rib, but he returned in the third quarter and lead the Cowboys to a comeback win over the 49ers. He’ll probably miss some practice this week, but there is a good chance that he will be able to play in Week 3.

Eddie Royal, WR, DEN - Strained Groin

Royal left Sunday’s game with a strained groin and did not return. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 3 are unknown.

Jordan Shipley, WR, CIN - Undisclosed Knee Injury

Shipley left Sunday’s game with what is being called a serious knee injury. The nature of the injury is currently unknown, but team officials believe that he will be out for an extended period of time.

Michael Vick, QB, PHI - Concussion

Vick left the Sunday night game in the third quarter after suffering a concussion and didn't return. He'll undergo tests and further evaluations on Monday to determine the best course of action with his practice schedule and eventual playing status for week 3, which is obviously in question depending on the severity of the concussion.
