Baltimore Ravens –
So much for this defense showing its age. Ed Reed is on pace for 32 interceptions; that would be a record.

Pittsburgh Steelers –
It's only one game, and a road game against a very good team at that. But as old and vulnerable as the Ravens were supposed to look, that's exactly how the Steelers looked.

Houston Texans –
Tough to read too much into one matchup against a reeling team, but Wade Phillips looks as if he's going to do some interesting things with defense.

Oakland Raiders –
Even without Nnamdi Asomugha this defense has some thump to it, especially up front. And you know there's speed all over the roster, which can lead to kick returns and blocked punts and pick sixes.

The Giants at #8 in a division with Vick, Romo and (yep, I'm sayin' it) Grossman? In THEIR condition? Too many missing teeth for this hillbilly.

Yep, Denver slid off the map this week. Really, there's about a dozen or so defenses you can look to for semi-regular production and then everything else is pretty much match-up based from week to week. If there's a strong need we can throw the bottom seven up there next week, but hopefully you don't have to dig that deep.
