Carson Palmer, Raiders –
The big news at the trade deadline was the Raiders' acquisition of Palmer to replace the injured Jason Campbell. Just how rusty will he be? There's plenty of upside here, but until he gets to the field it's all still speculative.
Christian Ponder, Vikings –
The other major quarterback move sees the Vikings going to the bullpen for their first-round pick. He looked alright in an appetizer Sunday night against Chicago; now he'll get the Packers at home. On the bright side, he can get out of the way faster than Donovan McNabb.
Curtis Painter, Colts –
After a nice little mini-run in which he flashed a little bit of hope for the Indy offense, Painter struggled against a pretty good defense--solidifying his status as a match-up play at best.
