San Francisco 49ersMoving Up
Not that the Niners D can't stand on its own, but they'll see the Rams and Cardinals twice each before the season ends. Guess what two teams give up the most fantasy points to opposing defenses?

New Orleans SaintsMoving Down
Conversely, the Saints aren't nearly the playmaking fantasy D they were during their Super Bowl run. Worse, they still have a bye and don't have a favorable fantasy defensive matchup the rest of the way.

I'm trying to make sense of the Rest of the season ranking for Def vs. the EoS tool for Team Defenses. EOS say Seatle and a few others are best and then you come over here and Giants have to play GB, Dallas and SF and they are ranked 20 spots higher. Can you guys explain a bit more about the EOS tools findings on PPR Team Defenses. Thanks

@OC Skins: You do know this is a fantasy football board, right? Sure, I guess some fantasy defense scoring doesn't take into account interceptions or recovered fumbles, but I've seen a lot more leagues that do take those into account and not throwaway stats like yards allowed. That said, the Bills allow a ton of points (on average), but ranking them in the top 10 or 12 is easily defended. (Eagles allow a ton of points and have 8 fewer turnovers, Giants same story with 2 fewer turnovers, ditto Cowboys with 5 fewer turnovers.
Stop hating and give the Bills their (fantasy) due!

The Bills at #10 is ludricous. Statistically, they are #24 in PassYds Allowed, #19 in RushYds Allowed, #25 in Total Yds Allowed, and #25 in Sacks, and 10 of their 15 sacks (75%) were in 1 game (vs Wash). Their stats are terrible overall. However, they are #2 in INTs with 15, but 8 of them (over 50%) came in just 2 games. Also, in their next 5 games they face the Cowboys, Jets, and Chargers, all good offenses who put up lots of yards and lots of points.

The Bills defense is statistically terrible, and they need to stop being ranked so high. I think their lofty ranking is solely based on their INT total and lucky shutout against Washington. The Bills D is actually a free agent in my 10-team league, despite being the #9 scoring D overall. This is because we all know they [beep] , and yards against is a much more reliable barometer statistically, as opposed to turnovers.
