This is a brief recap of the injuries occurring during Sunday's games. A complete in-depth injury report will be published on Tuesday.
Cedric Benson, RB, CIN - Sprained Ankle
Benson suffered what is being reported as a minor ankle sprain during Sunday’s game, but he was able to play through the injury. It doesn’t look serious, but we’ll know more about his status for the team’s next game later in the week.
Matt Leinart, QB, HOU - Fractured Clavicle
Leinart is probably done for the remainder of the season after breaking his clavicle during Sunday’s game. It isn’t clear if the injury will require surgery, but he will have to miss an extended period of time while he recovers.
Sidney Rice, WR, SEA - Concussion
Rice left Sunday’s game in the third quarter after a suffering what appears to be a concussion. The injury doesn’t appear to be serious, but since this is his second concussion of the season he will probably have to miss at least one game as a precaution.
Jerome Simpson, WR CIN - Undisclosed Knee Injury
Simpson left Sunday’s game after hurting his knee. He was able to return, but he wasn’t very productive. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 13 are unknown.
Beanie Wells, RB, ARI - Undisclosed Knee Injury
Wells missed a few plays after twisting his knee in the fourth quarter. He was able to return and finish the game. The nature of the injury and his status for next week are currently unknown.
